Politics have completely ruined professional sports.
One of the main drivers behind this is the left-wing media that’s pushing a narrative.
And now an NBA analyst walked off the set for one jaw-dropping reason.
The “NBA on TNT” crew is one of the more entertaining analysis groups because they constantly rag on each other.
Kenny Smith often plays “the straight man” during humorous moments of the broadcast, but as is the case with everything else the far-left touches, the show just got super “woke.”
In response to the shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin, NBA players made the unprecedented move to postpone the playoffs.
To show solidarity with the players, Smith walked off the set during the middle of a broadcast.

Smith’s move is all part of a concerted effort to defeat Donald Trump in November.
The Democrats just put on their national convention, and it was marred by subpar ratings, cringeworthy moments, and vapid policy ideas.
The Democrats know they can’t win on the issues, so they’re doing their best to win on “Orange Man Bad” and sowing as much chaos as humanly possible.
Sports has become just another vector to do it.
Los Angeles Clippers coach Doc Rivers was even more explicit with his targeted political attack.
Rivers said to the press:
“What stands out to me is, just watching the Republican convention, and they’re spewing this fear. All you hear is Donald Trump and all of them talking about fear. We’re the ones getting killed. We’re the ones getting shot. We’re the ones that—we’re denied to live in certain communities. We’ve been hung. We’ve been shot. And all you do is keep hearing about fear.”
This is a truly ridiculous statement on so many levels.
It’s the Democrats telling everyone that democracy is on the brink of collapse if Trump wins again.
They’ve called Trump a fascist so many times, even people on the left roll their eyes.
Rivers went even further with his asinine comments:
“It’s amazing why we keep loving this country, and this country does not love us back…It’s really so sad. Like, I should just be a coach. And I’m so often reminded of my color. It’s just really sad.”
This is partisan politics at their worst.
It’s the Democrat message writ large, i.e. America hates you, so vote for us and we’ll protect you.
And this is just after Rivers talked about fearmongering.
This is the consequence of sports journalism becoming so far left to the point where athletes and coaches are hectored into talking about political issues.
Sports figures who are ill-informed are debasing the political discourse with cheap stunts and baseless emotional appeals.
