Hollywood got a semi-comeuppance in October 2017 with the Me Too scandal sweeping the nation.
They pretended to change but the reality is the misogyny and racism is more rampant in Hollywood than any other industry in America. Yet somehow, they consistently escape the consequences of their actions that they ironically try to instill on the American public.
But this super famous President Trump-loving comedian is about to exact her revenge on Hollywood in a big way.
Roseanne Barr is quite possibly one of the most controversial comedians to ever come out of Hollywood. Why? It’s because she’s a Republican and we all know how Hollywood liberals treat everybody that oppose their ideology.
But for years that didn’t seem to faze Barr because she’s never afraid to speak her mind. That’s why Americans really love her.
The famed standup comedian created one of the most successful sitcoms of the 1990s, “Roseanne.” And just a couple of short years ago ABC decided reboot the show with Barr coming back to helm the series.
The ratings were through the roof for the first season. It shattered all-time records.
But it all came crumbling down one late night after one fateful tweet in 2018.
Barr joked of former President Barack Obama’s aide Valerie Jarrett, “muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby = vj.” She immediately apologized and claimed she had taken the sleeping drug Ambien for the comment.
That didn’t matter, however, because the liberal pitchfork Twitter mob went nuclear –ultimately forcing ABC’s hand to fire Barr from her own show.
The “Roseanne” creator recently sat down for a remote interview amid this global crisis with her longtime friend Norm Macdonald on his new YouTube series to discuss an array of topics.
One of them was about being fired from her show and Barr said, “I have the time now to research and come up with the perfect lawsuit. The lawsuit I’m going to wage against Hollywood.”
Of course, that means Barr is planning to sue ABC – probably for wrongful termination – sometime in the near future.
ABC had the audacity to say after the controversial tweet from Barr, “Roseanne’s statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show.”
Abhorrent? Repugnant? Those words carry no meaning when it comes from Hollywood.
The only thing “abhorrent” and “repugnant” is Hollywood’s influence over perpetuating morality guidelines that they don’t even follow.
Or was Barr likely excommunicated from the industry because she likes President Trump?
Following being fired by ABC, Barr said, “’Roseanne’ was also politically motivated. It’s all because I said that I like [Donald] Trump. A lot of cabals in Hollywood, that’s all they needed to hear: ‘She must be destroyed.’”
The thing you have to ask yourself is if firing Barr was really necessary? She doesn’t get a warning like most others would?
