The sports world has become shot through with politics.
Escapism is no longer possible with so many athletes and commentators injecting their politics into sports.
Now an NBA analyst went on TV and made one insane statement about the Capitol riot.
Fallout is still settling after the horrific Capitol Hill riot that shocked the country.
Democrats and their media allies have characterized the incident as the darkest day in American history since Pearl Harbor.
But the Democrats were largely silent during months of endless rioting and looting committed by Black Lives Matter and Antifa.
The 2020 riots were constantly described as “mostly peaceful” despite dozens of dead people and billions in property damage.
Worse yet, the Democrats have disgustingly racialized the incident, suggesting that the rioters would’ve been treated differently if they had been black.
NBA commentator Chris Webber made that terrible argument during a TNT broadcast.
I just heard Chris Webber while watching the 6ers game say “yesterday if any black or brown people were at the capitol building they would have been shot” on live TV. WTF is some black or brown kid going to think when he hears shit like that? Do better @NBAonTNT

This is an absurd argument.
The so-called mainstream media made every defense in the world for BLM and Antifa.
Talking heads at CNN and MSNBC said things like protesting doesn’t have to be peaceful or rioting is the language of the unheard or looting is a form of reparations.
Many police chiefs, sheriffs, rank-and-file cops, FBI agents, and politicians bent the knee in solidarity with BLM during the summer protests.
Radical Antifa and BLM protesters even marched through the streets of American cities chanting “Death to America.”
This isn’t the first time Webber opined on politics during a broadcast.
Webber praised NBA teams after boycotting a playoff game in support of alleged rapist Jacob Blake who was shot by the police while resisting arrest.

The NBA nearly destroyed its brand by turning the 2020 season into a political campaign; the league plastered “Black Lives Matter” all over the courts and allowed players to wear political slogans on the backs of their jerseys.
Meanwhile, the league has largely been silent on human rights abuses in China because it is dependent on the considerable Chinese market.
