The “woke” movement taking over sports continues to get worse.
The social pressure from the Democrat Media Complex is forcing people into compliance.
And one soccer star took heat for doing one thing during a national anthem protest.
In 2016, former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick started the radical anti-American anthem protest.
Fewer than five years later, the cultural polarity on anthem protesting has shifted.
Now athletes are chastised for not kneeling for the anthem.
Orlando Magic forward Jonathan Isaac stood for the anthem, and was excoriated by the left.
After he blew out his knee, “woke” former ESPN commentator Dan Le Batard mocked him.
Now U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team star Carli Lloyd took heat for standing during the anthem while her teammates kneeled.
Here is Carli Lloyd’s explanation for standing during the national anthem before yesterday’s #USWNT game against Colombia. Shout out to @thegoalkeeper for asking the question: pic.twitter.com/u6uaejPu3A

It’s absurd that it’s become controversial to stand for the anthem, but the U.S. Women’s National Team has become an avatar for “wokeness.”
Megan Rapinoe, the first non-NFL player to kneel in solidarity with Kaepernick, has led the charge against the mythical gender pay gap in soccer and society more broadly.
After winning the World Cup, Rapinoe went on a whirlwind tour meeting with Democrat bigwigs, but refused to meet with any Republican lawmakers.
Lloyd’s literal stance has already been framed as subversion of her black teammates.
Weird way to say “Some white players care more about their own feelings/beliefs than showing solidarity and support to their Black teammates” but OK, Carli

This is a consequence of the radical Black Lives Matter movement getting a foothold in sports culture.
Many people continue to ignore the Marxist agenda of the group despite admissions from its leaders.
The anti-American sentiment of the hard left is sadly being mainstreamed in American culture.
Decades of indoctrination on college campuses is pushing the country toward the brink of disaster.
When Americans can’t share cultural totems like the flag and the anthem and Mount Rushmore and statues of Abraham Lincoln, the seeds of destruction have already been laid.
