Rose McGowan became a popular actress in the 1990’s with her breakout role in the smash hit Scream. But it wasn’t long before her success came to a screeching halt.
Her justification for her failed career was because disgraced super producer Harvey Weinstein blacklisted her from Hollywood because she wouldn’t sleep with him. Consequently, she was one of the faces of the Me Too Movement as one of Weinstein’s main accusers, which led to her becoming famous again.
And now that she has that platform again, McGowan just admitted this furious and disgusting reason for why she had an abortion.
That horrendous harshness feels like something out of a cruel Orwellian Science Fiction novel, but even he didn’t take it to those extremes.
We’ve reached a point in society where the justifications for abortions have become so impassionate and irresponsible that many women do it purely because a baby is an inconvenience on their life.
And that’s exactly what Rose McGowan admitted on Twitter but a whole lot worse.
She wrote, “I have had an abortion and I support this message. I am not ashamed, nor should you be. That 60% of those who choose to have abortions are already mothers says a lot- they understand more than anyone. I was on birth control and it failed. I realized I could not bring a child into my world and simultaneously change the world.”
Change the world through what exactly is something that she never mentions.
Is she talking about through acting?
Once again a narcissistic actor believes they are changing the world by playing pretend for millions of dollars.
Yes, she sure did influence an entire generation with her incredible acting technique in movies and television shows like Planet Terror and Charmed.
Or was she talking about being the face of the Me Too Movement that has her thinking that way? If that’s the case, she was just a product of power abuse, using her for sexual exploit.
Why is that some groundbreaking earth shattering world changing thing?
She then added, “I do not regret my decision and it was not made lightly. If you do not want an abortion, don’t get one. My body, my choice, my life.”
The justification of simply not wanting one is unacceptable.
It’s hard not to point out the obvious irony here, which is that one of the strongest reasons for not aborting is that the baby might go on to change the world. You never know.
And when you consider that McGowan isn’t acting anymore. According to IMDB, she’s literally only done short films for the last three years.
It’s not like people are breaking down her door, begging for her to be in their project.
Even Hollywood refused to accept her sympathy card.
But McGowan’s baby could’ve changed the world probably a lot more than she has thus far.
