Disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein was exposed as a sexual predator.
Many other high-profile actors, directors, and news anchors also paid the price for their disgusting behavior.
But now actress Rose McGowan is going after Hollywood in a shocking way.
D.C. Distraction
After the fall of Weinstein, Hollywood became ripe for falls from grace.
Kevin Spacey watched his career go up in flames after several accusations of him groping young men and boys.
Louis C.K. retreated from comedy after word broke that he exposed himself to women on his writing staff.
News anchors also felt the wrath.
Matt Lauer and Charlie Rose saw their reputations burn after their awful misdeeds.
Politicians weren’t immune.
Minnesota Senator Al Franken, Michigan Congressman John Conyers, and New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman all resigned in disgrace.
But almost all of the men caught were on the left.
Democrats needed a Republican boogeyman.
Enter Brett Kavanaugh.
Democrats orchestrated a vile smear campaign against him.
They tried to paint him as the face of male sexual violence.
It didn’t work.
The Senate confirmed Kavanaugh.
And Republicans gained momentum for the midterms.
Kavanaugh even hired all women for his clerkship positions.
In his first day on the job, he hired as many black clerks as Ruth Bader Ginsburg in her entire time on the bench.
This distracted from the rot that’s still happening in Hollywood.
Fed Up
Actress Rose McGowan spoke out against Harvey Weinstein.
She was one of the first to call him out as a rapist.
McGowan was one of the pioneers of the #MeToo movement that ousted shady characters like Weinstein.
But the movement began to go off the rails, as did the sister “Time’s Up” movement.
In a recent interview, McGowan didn’t mince her words on Hollywood and the movement.
She called #TimesUp “all bullsh*t” and “a lie.”
McGowan didn’t stop there.
She said, “It’s a Band-Aid lie to make them feel better.”
Perhaps one of the “them” is media mogul Oprah Winfrey.
Winfrey received heaps of praise for her “Time’s Up” speech at the Golden Globes.
But Winfrey was a long-time friend and associate of Harvey Weinstein.
McGowan continued, “I know these people, I know they’re lily-livered, and as long as it looks good on the surface, to them, that’s enough.”
Hollywood is all about surface appearances.
That’s why Weinstein, Spacey, and others tried to virtue-signal to get back in Hollywood’s good graces.
In their “apology” notes, Weinstein vowed to fight the NRA, and Spacey said he would fight for LGBT issues.
Their transparent pleas did not work.
McGowan also said conservatives have a point when they criticize Hollwood.
She said, “They hate Hollywood for being faux liberals — and they’re 100% right about that…It’s a bunch of faux liberals.”
Hollywood is full of hypocrites.
They say one thing, and then do the opposite.
The American people are sick of it.
And apparently, so is Rose McGowan.
Tread Carefully
McGowan is spitting in the face of very powerful people.
There could be consequences.
Her former #MeToo ally Asia Argento saw her credibility die.
Argento made a fiery speech at the Cannes Film Festival where she said more Hollywood monsters would be exposed.
Soon after, Argento was exposed as a statutory rapist.
The Kavanaugh saga proved powerful leftists will do anything for power.
McGowan also isn’t at all fond of her former “Charmed” co-star Alyssa Milano.
Milano became a leftist symbol for her constant railing against Trump, Kavanaugh, and conservatives in general.
But McGowan believes she’s a big phony.
In a January interview with Nightline, McGowan pulled absolutely no punches:

McGowan seems to be on the warpath.
However, she just recently released a clarification video about #MeToo that looked as if Chairman Mao was looming off camera.
McGowan should tread lightly.
But she should also continue to speak the truth.
