The View has basically become an infomercial for the Democratic Party.
The show doesn’t even have an adversarial Republican point of view anymore.
Now one liberal Hollywood actress went on The View and said something that will make you sick.
Ever since Meghan McCain left The View, there has been almost no pushback to the Democratic talking heads on the show.
Recent Republican additions Ana Navarro and Alyssa Farah Griffin are both Never Trump RINOs that nod along with pretty much all of what the liberal panelists and guests say.
And that’s exactly what happened when far-left Hollywood actress Anne Hathaway appeared on the show to discuss abortion.
Hathaway even described the act of killing an innocent baby as “mercy.”
The actress said that “when you are a young woman starting out your career…[Y]our reproductive destiny matters a great deal.”
Hathaway shockingly pretends as if women have no control whatsoever over whether or not they get pregnant.
Much of the pro-abortion movement is about freeing people from any consequences, but babies in the womb are the ones who suffer the consequences.
Studies have also shown that the women who have abortions experience psychological trauma.
Hathaway also lamented living in a country “that puts us in this position,” i.e. the position of taking responsibility.
Hathaway added, “By the way, this is not a moral conversation about abortion…This is a practical conversation about women’s rights…and the freedom we all need to be able to choose and build our lives…[A]bortion can be another word for mercy.”
That is a jaw-dropping euphemism for the killing of a baby.
The actress continued, “[H]ow can we have a point of view that says we must treat everything the same?”

Hathaway’s attitude perfectly illustrates how the pro-choice movement has morphed into the pro-abortion movement.
The left no longer believes that abortion is a regrettable outcome; now it’s simply “healthcare.”
One pro-choice billboard even promoted abortion as if it were akin to a day at the spa.
Several actresses have given award speeches or written op-eds thanking the barbaric practice of abortion for their career success.
Academy Award-nominated actress Michelle Williams used her Golden Globe acceptance speech to say that her career would not have been possible without abortion.
Uma Thurman wrote an op-ed explaining that abortion allowed her career to get off the ground, as did Milana Vayntrub, who’s most notable for playing Lily in the AT&T commercials.
They seem oblivious to how ghoulish they sound when they say that they wouldn’t have their fame and money if they hadn’t killed their babies.
Ever since the Dobbs decision that overturned Roe v. Wade, the Democrats have tried to turn the abortion issue into a rallying cry for the midterm elections, but things have not played out that way.
Republicans can run on pro-life causes and win, especially in red states.
With each state getting to set its own abortion laws, the Democrats’ pitch for nationwide limitless abortions funded by the government is not landing with voters.
