Leftists are ratcheting up the animosity on Donald Trump and his administration.
Every day the rhetoric from the left gets more and more hateful.
Now pop music icon Lady Gaga is going after the Vice President with one truly terrible statement.
The longest ever government shutdown in America continues because of the Democrats’ wildly unreasonable position.
Instead of approving a meager $5.7 billion in funding to protest the southern border, the Democrats would rather have Americans suffer for a fake sense of morality.
Democrats proclaim that walls are immoral, even though they voted for border wall funding years ago, and spoke hawkishly on illegal immigration.
But their vendetta with Trump won’t even allow them to negotiate.
And they’re able to get away with it because they have a complicit mainstream media amplified by the voices of Hollywood celebrities.
One of the loudest leftist cheerleaders is pop diva Lady Gaga.
During a recent concert, the performer took time to screech at Trump about the government shutdown.
She said, “There are people who live paycheck to paycheck and need their money.”
Instead of aiming her animosity at Trump, she should point to the Democrats who are perfectly content with blowing out the deficit, but somehow $5.7 billion is a bridge too far.
They’d rather people suffer and leave our border unprotected — which is a magnet for drug smugglers and human traffickers — than pay for a barrier.
Lady Gaga then blasted Mike Pence because his wife Karen chose to teach art at a Christian school, which infuriated the left.
The reason why is because the devout school has a strict code of conduct when it comes to sexual behavior, including a pledge to abstain from homosexual activity.
The left can’t handle a private Christian institution that adheres to the Bible.
Lady Gaga said, “And to Mike Pence, who thinks it’s acceptable that his wife worked at a school that bans LGBTQ, you are wrong.”
The left claims to believe in the autonomy of women, then simultaneously believes women are under the thumb of a man when they make the “wrong” choice.
Karen Pence is free to make her own decisions.
Lady Gaga continued, “You said we should not discriminate against Christianity. You are the worst representation of what it means to be a Christian. I am a Christian woman, and what I do know about Christianity is that we bear no prejudice and everybody is welcome.”
Lady Gaga is, of course, using the leftist interpretation of Christianity where actually following the tenets of the religion is irrelevant.
Her hostility toward Christians is becoming all too common among the left.
One CNN anchor tried to link Christianity with white supremacy, and another CNN analyst said the second lady shouldn’t get secret service protection at the school because it’s a Christian institution.
The war on Christianity is ramping up.
This, of course, isn’t the first time Lady Gaga has whipped people into a frenzy on political grounds.
Lady Gaga went so far as to say, “Judge Kavanaugh being appointed is basically like telling every single woman in the country that’s been assaulted, ‘We don’t care. Or we don’t believe you.’”
This is an absurd position.
The Kavanaugh appointment was about leftists trying to tear down a man with a spotless record with wild and unproven allegations.
Even Kavanaugh’s accuser didn’t corroborate her story.
They actively refuted it.
But facts aren’t supposed to matter when an intersectional narrative is at play.
The messages that celebrities like Lady Gaga espouse are dangerous and need to be challenged.
Sadly, few people in Hollywood are willing to push back.
