Hollywood has become completely infected by Trump Derangement Syndrome on a massive scale.
The “blacklist” for vocal conservatives is alive and well.
But one Hollywood actress stunned all and said she was voting for Donald Trump.
Years ago, Hollywood right-wingers started the organization “Friends of Abe,” which was a semi-secret meeting of Republicans, conservatives, and libertarians who were rightly fearful of their careers being ruined.
Only a handful of outspoken conservatives are allowed to operate at the higher levels of the industry.
Tim Allen had one of the highest-rated sitcoms on television, but it was abruptly canceled in 2017 after the election of Donald Trump.
Some speculated that Allen’s politics and the politics of the show might’ve factored into the cancellation.
The show was ultimately picked up by a different network and renewed, but Allen is the exception, not the rule.
Famed actor James Woods was summarily let go by his agent after he became very critical of left-wing politics on Twitter.
So it was even more surprising when Samaire Armstrong—actress on the former hit show “The O.C.”—outed herself on Instagram as a Trump supporter.
Armstrong was compelled to speak out because the left has gone completely insane.
She captioned her social media rant with the following message:
“I’m voting #Trump2020, and this is why…This is MY opinion. I am sharing it with you at the cost of everything, because it is my right. It is your right to refute it. What I hope comes from this, is that we are able to have an open dialogue.”
Voting for Trump in Hollywood is verboten, so it took guts for Armstrong to confess.
Old-guard Hollywood Republicans like Jon Voight can speak their minds because they’re not working much anymore, but even they get attacked.
Armstrong said during her rant, “There are so many in our great country who have been bullied into silence at the doing of a far-left mob.”
This is undoubtedly true.
One of the reasons the polls were so wrong in 2016 is because they had no way of accounting for secret Trump voters.
The so-called mainstream media and other cultural institutions made it so toxic to support Trump, anyone with heterodox views at all was driven out of the left, or driven underground.
Armstrong continued by saying that the radical Black Lives Matter organization serves as an “act of warfare at the hands of Marxist criminals, ‘woke’ White, angsty uneducated ANTIFA, who do not have the bandwidth to navigate an indoor golf course, let alone life.”
This is also true.
The twin organizations Black Lives Matter and Antifa have accounted for an overwhelming amount of violence in the United States over the past four months.
Armstrong didn’t pull any punches and said, “They are not bright. They are manipulative criminals. They are puppets, of an agenda. We too have been puppets. This must end now…White guilt, celebrity endorsement, and corporate pandering has funded this 1 billion-dollar domestic terrorist organization.”
There are certainly more people in Hollywood who feel the same way that she does.
And if Armstrong feels that way while working in one of the most left-wing industries on the planet, it’s easy to imagine how moderates in the middle of the country feel.
Armstrong could be representative of the silent majority that could show up to the polls in droves.
