Hollywood elites love lecturing America.
They believe it’s their job to tell everyone else how to live their lives.
Now one actor tried to badmouth Ted Cruz and failed miserably.
The Elites
Leftism is all about power.
The left will do anything to gain and maintain power.
It’s the only way they can cram their unpopular ideas down the throats of people.
Through brute force.
But people don’t give up their rights easily.
So leftists couch their true agenda in concern for others.
They make the argument that if you cared about disadvantaged people, you would allow the state to control every facet of your life.
All in the name of “social justice.”
The left pushes their message in schools, the media, and Hollywood.
That’s where celebrities come into play.
The left dominates Hollywood.
So the biggest names in film and TV are all pushing a leftist message.
And they’ve been doing it for decades.
This is how the left reshapes the culture.
And the culture seeps into the country.
Texas Fight
Hollywood leftists use their platforms to insert themselves into political races.
They count on their celebrity status wooing people into following their lead.
That’s what celebrities are currently doing in Texas.
The Lone Star State has been reliably Republican for a long time.
But the Democrats believe they have a chance to flip a Senate seat.
Incumbent Ted Cruz is facing off against leftist challenger Beto O’Rourke.
Democrats believe O’Rourke is a rising star.
Some say he could run for president in 2020.
That’s why so many on the left have an interest in this senate race.
Actor Kendrick Sampson from “Insecure” and “How To Get Away With Murder” introduced O’Rourke at an event in Houston, and made a huge gaffe.
The event occurred at Texas Southern, a predominantly black university, and Sampson said to the audience, “Don’t let these old white people decide our lives for us.”
There’s just one problem.
Beto O’Rourke is Irish.
He adopted the nickname Beto to make him more palatable to Hispanic voters.
Conversely, Ted Cruz is half-Cuban.
They’re also only a year apart in age.
Sampson’s lazy identity politics gambit was a total failure.
But these are the elites that are supposed to know better than the American people.
The Big Agenda
O’Rourke is making the race more uncomfortable than conservatives would like.
But polls suggest O’Rourke will have a very hard time winning the race.
His politics don’t jibe with Texas.
O’Rourke is a far-left candidate who believes in nationalized medicine, late-term abortion, and gun control.
He also strongly supports kneeling for the Star-Spangled Banner.
Cruz hit O’Rourke hard for saying there’s nothing more patriotic than protesting the national anthem.
As the general election nears and more people learn that O’Rourke isn’t even a moderate Democrat, his support will likely fade.
Democrats want to flip the House blue so they can impeach Trump.
They wouldn’t have the votes in the Senate to remove him, but they could make his presidency untenable for two years with endless hearings and investigations.
But the big goal is turn Texas blue.
With Texas’s electoral votes, Democrats would have a look on the presidency.
But that won’t happen easily.
Republican Pete Flores recently won a state senate seat in a district controlled by Democrats for 139 years:

Should Texas Democrats be worried about Republican Pete Flores’ state senate victory? Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick weighs in on ‘Fox News @ Night with Shannon Bream.’
Texans aren’t ready to embrace the left’s naked pleas for socialism.
