The midterms are near.
The fight for control of the House is one month away.
Now Eva Longoria and other Hollywood celebs are going all in on one Senate hopeful.
Midterms Heating Up
The battleground is set.
Democrats have their sights on Congress.
They lost the presidency in 2016.
Donald Trump’s victory over Hillary Clinton still roils Democrats today.
Trump appointed two textualists to the Supreme Court.
That tips the court toward a conservative interpretation of the Constitution.
With the executive and judicial branches in Republican control, the Democrats are throwing everything they have into the legislature.
The Senate math is bad for Democrats.
But they have a strong chance to take the House.
And the party out of power tends to do well in the midterms.
Also, if Democrats take the House, they will quickly begin impeachment proceedings against Trump.
They will launch endless investigations and hearings.
With so much at stake, Democrats are pulling out all the stops.
They’re using their celebrity shills in Hollywood to back Democratic candidates.
One particular race that has Democrats worked up is in Texas.
Democrats see an opportunity in a Senate race between incumbent Ted Cruz and challenger Beto O’Rourke.
Democrats’ Next Great Hope
Even though the Senate is likely to remain red, Democrats are taking their shot.
If Democrats regain the Senate, they can block any Trump Supreme Court nominee if another seat were to open up.
That’s why there is so much enthusiasm around the Texas Senate race.
Flipping a Texas Senate seat blue would be huge.
Democrats flooded money into the race.
Hollywood titan Judd Apatow held a big fundraiser for O’Rourke.
Now, actress, Eva Longoria is involved.
Longoria, who sponsored a disgusting smear ad against Ed Gillespie in the Virginia governor race, threw her support behind O’Rourke:

Longoria isn’t the only Hollywood leftist pumping O’Rourke.
Ellen DeGeneres invited O’Rourke onto her show for a softball interview.
The Democrats aren’t even hiding their efforts to prop up O’Rourke.
However, he will have a tough time winning in Texas on his far-left platform.
Also, O’Rourke fled the scene of a DUI, then lied about it.
It looked like a lock that Democrats would retake the House.
But all that changed.
The left’s disgraceful treatment of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh caused a shift.
Democrats’ obvious smear campaign drummed up energy in the Republican Party.
The Democrats are still likely to win the House, but their chances dropped.
Also, they could be in trouble of dropping seats in the Senate.
Hedi Heitkamp in North Dakota, Claire McCaskill in Missouri, and Joe Manchin in West Virginia are all Democrats in serious trouble.
Manchin was so deep under water, he was the lone Democrat to vote for Kavanaugh because the judge is so popular in his state.
The left always goes too far.
It could certainly cost them in the midterms.
