As you know, it’s no secret that Hollywood despises President Trump even though he’s cut all of their taxes dramatically and made them a ton of money with this thriving economy.
Still, more and more Hollywood elitists randomly expose their anti-Trump stance in what seems like a daily basis.
And Harrison Ford might be in huge trouble with Disney after what he called Trump on national television.
The amount of vitriol spread about President Trump on a daily basis is truly absurd and it seems like it’s Hollywood that plants that seed. Once that seed is planted in Hollywood, fans who worship these celebrities perpetuate to the people they know.
If you surf Twitter at all you will find a litany of Hollywood elitists who consistently bash Trump like Rob Reiner, Michael Moore, Cher, Rosie O’Donnell, Alec Baldwin, Patricia Arquette and the list goes on and on.
But sometimes an A-lister will come out of nowhere and indicate which side of the political spectrum they’re on.
Brad Pitt’s acceptance speech at the Oscars for “Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood” was a shocker because it was the first time he implied his liberal allegiance.
Pitt said he only had 45-seconds for his acceptance speech and that it was “They told me I only have 45 seconds up here, which is 45 seconds more than the Senate gave John Bolton this week. I’m thinking maybe Quentin [Tarantino] does a movie about it. In the end, the adults do the right thing.”
Taylor Swift avoided the political spotlight until the 2018 midterms when she supported Democrat Phil Bredesen instead of incumbent Sen. Marsha Blackburn.
And A-list actor Harrison Ford – best known for the Star Wars and Indiana Jones franchises – just did the same thing.
Ford appeared on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” recently where he called President Trump a “son of a b-tch.” He was there to promote his new Disney movie “Call of the Wild,” which is based on the renowned book of the same title.
The gag started when Kimmel held up a promotional poster with fake quotes from Trump about the movie saying, “it was the perfect call,” obviously joking about Trump’s call last summer to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky – the call that got him impeached by angry Democrats.
Ford hysterically laughed at the poster and after a beat he muttered, “That’s the first thing that son of a b-tch has done for me… ever.”
He’s promoting a big budget Disney movie. It’s unclear if he’ll be punished for saying that about Trump but when an actor makes a comment like that then it largely affects the box office numbers.
Just days earlier when he was in Mexico City, Ford blasted America while he was there promoting the movie too.
Ford said, “Our position in the world is tenuous because of our lack of moral leadership, basically. I certainly applaud Greta [Thunberg]… her activism, her role in representing the interests of young people, and I admire her courage, her fortitude, and also admire her capacity to express herself.”
That couldn’t be further from the truth because our position in the world has never been better. We’re no longer letting other countries bully us into trade tariffs that favor them.
Also, Trump has saved Ford a lot of money on taxes. So for him to say, “that’s the first thing that son of a b-tch has done for me,” is completely false.
