President Donald Trump gets attacked from all angles like a furiously monotonous spectacle of absurd rhetoric.
It’s like these people hate him from the echo chamber perpetuated by liberal media but then still want to keep their social statuses relevant because it’s the cool thing to do.
And one audacious pop star did exactly that when he thanked Trump and then simultaneously attacked him for this ridiculous reason.
Aren’t you tired of hearing from pop stars by now?
Taylor Swift is inarguably one of the biggest in the world and she just recently blasted the Republican running in her own home state of Tennessee, Sen. Marsha Blackburn.
This was unlike her to meddle in politics and that’s why her fans were so refreshed about how she explicitly and intentionally stayed out of it.
But just in time for November 6th 2018, Swift wrote on Instagram, “These two Tennessee women voted for the candidate who has proven himself to be reasonable and trustworthy. We want leadership, not fear-based extremism. Early voting goes til Thursday and Election Day is November 6. Please don’t sit this one out.”
If that wasn’t obvious, she was referring to then-Democratic candidate Phil Bredesen. But at the end of the day, Blackburn won and Bredesen lost.
But don’t you get tired of celebrities randomly chiming in about politics; specifically because they’re using their celebrity platform to try and influence their followers to persuade them on their side? It’s not only pandering but it’s disingenuous because it’s as if they know exactly the hardships facing all of their fans as some sort of collective group.
That’s not true. And we all have our own hardships. That’s why they consistently say celebrities live in a bubble.
Enter Justin Bieber into this discussion.
Apparently celebrities Kanye West and Kim Kardashian called him to see if he could do anything about it and President Trump did exactly that. Who could fault him for that magnificent act right?
Well some people could like Justin Bieber, who had the audacity to tweet, “I want my friend out.. I appreciate you trying to help him. But while you’re at it [Donald Trump] can you also let those kids out of cages?
That’s a backhanded thank you.
Trump hasn’t responded directly to Bieber and he probably won’t, but in the meantime he’s making progress.
He said, “Just spoke to [Kanye West] about his friend A$AP Rocky’s incarceration. I will be calling the very talented Prime Minister of Sweden to see what we can do about helping A$AP Rocky. So many people would like to see this quickly resolved!”
The video of the incident the rapper was charged with is controversial at best. Videos show that apparently Swedish people were following the rapper around when a fight broke out and A$AP Rocky actually said to them “ We don’t want to fight.”
Nevertheless, it went down. It seemed like self defense.
Trump also offered to, “Just had a very good call with [Swedish PM] Stefan Löfven who assured me that American citizen A$AP Rocky will be treated fairly. Likewise, I assured him that A$AP was not a flight risk and offered to personally vouch for his bail…”
The only problem is that Sweden has a skeptical bail system. Although, technically, they do have one, they never offer it to people who are denied bail.
But it’s nice to see Trump take initiative on something like this. Let’s see what the liberal media does with it now.
