Sports figures continue to insert themselves into political debates.
It’s only gotten worse since Colin Kaepernick started the anti-American anthem protests.
Now one Hall of Fame basketball coach went on a mind-numbing rant about guns.
Newly retired Duke Blue Devils head basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski jumped on the latest gun control push.
And like the Democrats involved in the debate, he did not know what he was talking about.
During a radio interview, Krzyzewski implored Congress to act, saying, “The people that are suffering are people that need you. Like, why don’t you? Come on. You know? What the hell are we doing? You know, we’re not taking care of our people. And we can go into the guns. Like, you need an automatic weapon? You gotta be kidding me. You got to be kidding me. It’s disgusting.”
Nobody is using automatic weapons, which have been heavily regulated for decades.
Gun grabbers do not seem to understand the difference between automatic and semi-automatic weapons.
Semi-automatic simply means one trigger pull fires one round.
Krzyzewski also said that Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was “right on” when he went on a tirade about guns.
After the Uvalde shooting, Kerr essentially gave a DNC speech and said, “I ask you, Mitch McConnell, and ask all of you senators who refuse to do anything about the violence, the school shootings, the supermarket shootings, I ask you: Are you going to put your own desire for power ahead of the lives of our children, our elderly, and our churchgoers? Because that’s what it looks like. That’s what we do every week. I’m fed up, I’ve had enough…Fifty senators in Washington are going to hold us hostage. Do you realize 90 percent of Americans, regardless of political party, want universal background checks? We’re being held hostage by 50 senators in Washington who refuse to even put it to a vote, despite what we, the American people, want. They won’t vote on it because they want to hold onto their own power. It’s pathetic. I’ve had enough.”

Democrats want people to “do something,” but they don’t have any plans that would actually work.
Background checks already exist, and universal background checks would do little to stop illegal purchases.
Law-abiding citizens follow the law, and criminals do not.
Democrats are using emotional blackmail to coerce people into passing gun control legislation, which will not end until the agenda has moved to full-scale gun confiscation.
People like Coach Krzyzewski are just pawns in the long-game strategy being implemented by the Democrats.
