Netflix is one of the most monstrous companies on the planet.
But with that power comes great responsibility.
And Netflix allowed one of their anti-Trump talents to mouth off against a high-level Trump administration employee, but it backfired spectacularly.
Chelsea Handler has been anti-Trump since the beginning.
She’s a low-level comedian who had a show on Netflix that was canceled because she apparently wanted to focus her energy on politics.
Bad move.
Handler recently called Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders a “harlot” on her show, and when she was called out for it, she actually doubled-down on her vitriol.
The Daily Caller reports:
“Feminist Chelsea Handler has been in an all-out vulgar war against White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders. The comedian called Sanders a “whore” in a recent interview and then released a video body-shaming Sanders and her makeup. In response, Mike Huckabee said Handler was “jealous” of his daughter. Huck said:
I know you are probably expecting me to be very angry about it truthfully when I read what she said and watched it, I felt sorry for her. I feel sad for Chelsea Handler. She seems like a very angry and bitter person. She is almost as old as me.
This is the part of her life she needs to start mellowing out. She seems to be enraged. She boasts about the two abortions she had at 16. In many ways, she is jealous of my daughter. My daughter has a husband who loves her and is wonderful to her.
My daughter has three delightful children. She is a happy, balanced person. She enjoys life. She is a pretty straight-laced person. Goes to church and lives a life Chelsea Handler has never known.”
But now Netflix is getting called out for keeping Handler’s show:
You too @netflix for promoting this kind of bullying. Shame on you too. https://t.co/d8Eq7oYAxY

So, @netflix is okay with one of its “content providers” attacking a woman’s appearance because of her political viewpoint? https://t.co/eh5Vi3oAPj

@netflix Really. You want this playing with your banner on it? It’s not funny, doesn’t even appear to try to be funny. https://t.co/fFZ37KReVA

Rude & shameful @chelseahandler one more example of those people who claim to champion women but have no problem harassing those women they don’t agree with. @SarahHuckabee great job ignoring the haters. @MorningsMaria @FoxBusiness @dagenmcdowell

If Netflix isn’t careful, they may end up like the NFL.
