Tim Tebow has been under attack by the left for years.
As one of the most famous Christians in America, Tebow is an obvious target for the secular left.
And now Tebow will be speaking at one deeply important event.
Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Tim Tebow has had a busy career since retiring from the NFL.
He does work for his charity the Tim Tebow Foundation, provides analysis for college football games, produces films and television shows, and carves out enough time to pursue a Major League Baseball career.
Now Tebow will be the keynote speaker at the annual March for Life event.
March for Life president Jeanne Mancini announced:
“Tim Tebow is a devoted advocate for the most vulnerable and we are delighted he will address the Rose Dinner…He perfectly encapsulates the youth, energy, and enthusiasm of the pro-life movement, and his charitable work is an inspiration.”
Tebow’s mother was famously told to abort Tim because of health concerns with her pregnancy, but she instead leaned on her Christian faith.
The pro-life event draws hundreds of thousands of attendees each year.
At the last event, Donald Trump became the first president to attend.
He said to the crowd:
“It is my profound honor to be the first president in history to attend the March for Life. Unborn children have never had a stronger defender in the White House…Every life brings love into this world. Every child brings joy to a family. Every person is worth protecting.”
The so-called mainstream media always report on how many people attend the Women’s March or other left-wing groups, but remain silent on the massive attendance for the March for Life.
The left has only gotten more extreme on the issue of abortion over the years.
“Save, legal, and rare” used to be the Democratic mantra.
Now the left wants government-funded abortions on demand up to the point of birth.
Virginia governor Ralph Northam got in hot water when he suggested that babies should be allowed to die post-birth so long as the doctors make them “comfortable.”
Leftists started the Twitter trend #ShoutYourAbortion while others tried to push abortion humor to destigmatize the act.
Actress Lena Dunham lamented the fact she wasn’t part of the sisterhood of women who’d had abortions, and actress Martha Plimpton ghoulishly said that her favorite abortion was her first one.
Other actresses like Michelle Williams, Busy Philipps, and Jameela Jamil said they owed their acting careers to abortions they had.
During a presidential primary debate, Democrats said they would provide free abortions for illegal aliens as well.
Democrats in New York lit the One World Trade Center building pink in celebration in passage of an abortion law that makes the act illegal up until the point of birth for any reason.
Democrats have also chased out the few remaining pro-lifers in their coalition.
The left has been transformed into a group of pro-abortion zealots.
