Jason Whitlock constantly ruffles leftists’ feathers.
He doesn’t let them off the hook for their stupidity and hypocrisy.
And his latest comments strike at the heart of a truth that liberals don’t want to face.
Whitlock appeared on Clay Travis’s radio show and the discussion moved towards race.
Whitlock didn’t pull any punches and explained how the left’s entire ideology is rooted in white supremacy.
In a Monday appearance on Fox Sports Radio’s “Outkick the Coverage,” Fox Sports 1’s Jason Whitlock argued that liberalism and the victim mentality has taught black people to believe they are “nothing” without the white politicians saving them.
“[I]f you really understand liberalism and what it teaches black people, that basically, it teaches, to me, white supremacy — that you’re nothing as black people without white people,” Whitlock told host Clay Travis. “Unless white people come and save you and the white government comes and saves you, you can accomplish nothing in America.”
Whitlock went on to explain before being cut off that liberalism teaches the “total opposite” of black people working to better the issues within their community.
Whitlock is obviously correct, as one of the new catch phrases from the left is “extending white privilege to people of color.”
The entire notion is disgusting; it basically admits that white people are so superior it’s incumbent on them to bestow their benevolence on the lowly, hopeless people of color.
Teaching people to be victims is the best recipe to make government dependents. The more people on the government dole, the better Democrats do.
It’s run amok when millionaire athletes and celebrities are perpetuating the victimhood narrative by inflaming the masses.
The most insidious thing about this belief is it’s a reversal of the civil rights movement, which was about equality of opportunity. The left instead wants equality of outcome, which means they get to wield more power and socially engineer any institution they wish.
As economist Thomas Sowell points out, the left uses people of color and other “marginalized” communities as mascots for their big-government schemes.
Black wealth in America would make for one of the 10 richest countries in the world, yet the victimhood narrative pushed by the left suggests that black people and other minorities are hopeless without white saviors.
Sadly, the left is no longer interested in judging people on the content of their character. Race is all that matters.
