One of the most obnoxious comparisons in America right now is that disgraced former quarterback Colin Kaepernick is a lot like Martin Luther King Jr. or Muhammad Ali.
Comparing Kaepernick to these two is like comparing apples to a fruit nobody has ever heard of before. They’re not even in the same stratosphere for social justice or talent.
But you might be shocked to learn what Muhammad Ali’s son said about Black Lives Matter.
Don’t you think it’s just a little ironic that the Black Lives Matter movement began under former President Barack Obama’s administration?
However, this organization has taken on a life of its own under President Trump’s administration because they’re falsely taking out their frustration on the wrong person. President Obama put them in this position, but Trump is the one who is personally responsible for all-time lows in African American unemployment.
It’s hypocritical, tone-deaf, and misdirected.
And surprisingly, Muhammad Ali’s son agrees with the latter sentiment, involving Black Lives Matter.
The boxing icon’s son, Muhammad Ali Jr., said in a recent interview with the New York Post when asked what his father would think of the Black Lives Matter movement, “My father would have said, ‘They ain’t nothing but devils.’ My father said, ‘all lives matter.’ I don’t think he’d agree (with BLM).”
That comment is enough for a double take because nobody knows what Muhammad Ali would think of Black Lives Matter more than his son. This is a huge shot to the face for anybody who has studied the boxing icon because they probably assumed he would be on their side.
That is obviously not true and nobody would know better than his son.
The reason why Ali Jr. doesn’t think his father would support BLM is because he said, “Don’t bust up sh-t, don’t trash the place. You can peacefully protest.”
How could anyone argue with that? These Black Lives Matters protesters destroyed people’s livelihoods that had nothing to do with George Floyd’s death. It really doesn’t take a genius to figure out how wrong that is.
Ali Jr. took it a step further by saying he thinks BLM is “racist.” Ali Jr. added, “It’s not just black lives matter, white lives matter, Chinese lives matter, all lives matter, everybody’s life matters. God loves everyone – he never singled anyone out. Killing is wrong no matter who it is. It’s a racial statement. It’s pitting black people against everyone else. It starts racial things to happen. I hate that. They’re no different from Muslim terrorist.”
There’s a glaring admission in that last sentence that you may have overlooked. Not only was Muhammad Ali a practicing Muslim, but Ali Jr. is as well.
Even he can identify the true terrorists and race or religion has nothing to do with it. That’s as wise an observation that his father ever made too. It must run in the family.
Isn’t it ironic that we all agree with Ali Jr.’s aforementioned sentiment and yet we’re still so divided?
Black Lives Matter protesters are destroying businesses, beating up innocent neighbors, burning down police stations and spreading hatred in the name of “Antifa” when the real fascism is former President Barack Obama’s shadow government deep state.
Everybody in America needs to slow down and take things one thing at a time. Look at what just happened with Nascar driver Bubba Wallace incorrectly labeling a garage door handle for a noose, and then everybody was screaming racism before all the facts were in. It’s ridiculous.
