Chaos erupted in the streets of America over the death of Minneapolis native George Floyd.
Protests quickly evolved into looting and rioting; a perfect storm for opportunists to take advantage of this civil unrest playing our country by enacting out their political agenda. But some people like former Vice President Joe Biden are instead using hyperbole as a weapon.
And that’s why this NFL legend blasted Biden for comparing George Floyd’s death to this American icon.
There are quite a few professional athletes who have unapologetically confessed their support for President Trump like Cleveland Browns royalty Jim Brown, legendary golfer John Daly, retired Chicago Bulls forward Dennis Rodman, former NFL coach Mike Ditka and even world heavyweight champion “iron” Mike Tyson.
And one of President Trump’s biggest allies in sports is former running back Herschel Walker.
The 6-foot 2 inch, 222-pound running back was the most sought-after high school football player in the country before landing at the University of Georgia, where he is often called the greatest running back in college football history. And then went on to play for the Dallas Cowboys, Minnesota Vikings, Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Giants.
Walker has been defending President Trump for the last four years and recently had issue with former Vice President Joe Biden claiming that the death of Minneapolis, Minnesota native George Floyd had a greater impact on the world than the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr.
Yes, you read the correctly.
The video in question is this press conference:

That’s simply not true. The assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. in 1968 led to the signing of the Civil Rights Act just six days later. Biden’s either willfully ignorant or he’s hyperbolizing for effect.
But Walker had a major issue with that.
Walker wrote on Twitter, “Someone inform @JoeBiden not to compare the death of Dr. King and George Floyd. He has been in office a very long time, and not once has he tried to change anything for black lives. Look at his voting records!”
On the other hand, African American unemployment is at its lowest point ever due to President Trump and his administration.
Lest not forget, then-Senator Biden was the one who championed the 1994 crime law, The Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act, that directly contributed to the mass incarceration of black people across this country. He did that.
Now he’s trying to manipulate you into thinking he’s the wisest person in the room who has defended black Americans during his whole political career. That sentiment is absolutely false. Biden has done nothing but hinder progress for black Americans.
Herschel said two years ago that President Trump has been “getting a raw deal” from the same people “forgetting” about respecting the office, not the person.
Walker said at the time, “We voted for him to be president, and because of that, we have to respect him as our president.”
Now that’s wisdom.
Think about how insanely insulting it is to compare George Floyd’s death to the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. who played such a massive part in the fabric of America. That’s just delusional.
