The Me Too Movement is the biggest Hollywood scandal of the 21st century.
It’s a scandal so seismic that it has already destroyed and banished some of the industry’s most powerful players.
But one of the movement’s most recognizable heroines of the movement was just exposed as a hypocrite and a fraud.
Asia Argento became one of the most recognizable faces of the Me Too Movement in the last several months, which is odd when you take a look at her IMDb credits.

In fact, her movie resume is abysmal compared to some of the others who have come out publicly. Argento’s only “big” film credits are for such “classics” as the horror film Land of the Dead, Vin Diesel’s xXx and a whole slew of really awful stereotypical “B” movies.
Granted, one of the reasons why Argento’s name blew up several weeks ago is because she was in a relationship with celebrity chef, Anthony Bourdain, at the time of his suicide.
When that happened she instantly became one of disgraced former-super producer Harvey Weinstein’s most well known accusers.
Recently, the New York Times dropped a bomb this week on Argento that she settled a lawsuit due to the illegal relationship she had with a 17-year-old boy named Jimmy Bennett. https://www.breitbart.com/big-hollywood/2018/08/22/asia-argento-claim-no-sexual-relationship-minor-contradicted/
According to the report, Argento settled a civil suit that paid Bennett $380,000 for an inappropriate sexual relationship she had with the boy in 2013.

And that’s not even the worst part.
When confronted about the suit and her relationship with Bennett, Argento vehemently denied the accusation.
She wrote, “I strongly deny and oppose the contents of the New York Times article dated 20 August 2018, as circulated also in national and international news. I am deeply shocked and hurt by having read news that is absolutely false. I have never had any sexual relationship with Bennett.”
Surprisingly, she had the audacity to blame her late wealthy boyfriend as the sole reason why Bennett allegedly asked her for the money initially.
She also told the Times, “Anthony insisted the matter be handled privately and this was also what Bennett wanted. Anthony was afraid of the possible negative publicity that such person, whom he considered dangerous, could have brought upon us.”
Argento claimed Bennett had “severe economic problems” and consequently “unexpectedly made an exorbitant request of money from me.”
Unfortunately for Argento, that’s when things got a whole lot worse because TMZ found a photograph that made her statement completely silly.

You be the judge.
It’s not that hard to discern the difference and extrapolate the before and after implications of this photograph.
In summary, Argento was a symbol of the Me Too Movement; she was a hero for women everywhere who were too scared to speak up.
Unfortunately, as it turns out, she is now the movement’s biggest hypocrite.
