When will this all stop? Can President Trump do no good deeds in liberals’ eyes? Is everything the most disgusting thing imaginable?
While Donald Trump was President-elect, he met with a bunch of African Americans at Trump Tower in New York City. Like athletes Jim Brown and Ray Lewis, and also superstar rapper Kanye West. Trump wanted to reassure them he wanted to help in any way he could with whatever problems they had in their communities.
And now California Senator Kamala Harris is accusing President Trump of an outrageous thing for helping Kanye West’s friend who’s in a Swedish prison currently.
Here’s the thing that liberals really, really don’t understand. If you are respectful and need a favor then President Trump is ready to bend over backwards for you.
Liberals and the mainstream media want to paint Trump as this insane sociopathic villain because it fits their narrative that he’s a horrible president. They want to put a Democrat in power in 2020 and they will do whatever it takes to achieve that goal.
But while the liberals want to scream about all of the “heinous” things Trump does and ignore literally all of the things former President Barack Obama does – because let’s face it, the job requires difficult decisions sometimes – they want to uphold the narrative about Trump’s evilness.
Here’s a story for you about Trump’s generosity.
In mid-August 2015, a critically-ill Jewish 3-year-old boy was in desperate need to fly across the country – from Los Angeles to New York – for medical treatment to save his life and the family contacted Trump to see if he could assist. Not only did he assist, he lent the family his private jet.
Does that seem like a bad guy to you?
Well, liberals like Sen. Kamala Harris and Democratic presidential candidate hopeful don’t see it that way.
Harris spoke at a NAACP convention on Wednesday and accused President Trump of “playing politics” for intervening for Kanye West’s friend and rapper A$AP Rocky who is being held in a Swedish jail currently without bail.
A moderator asked Harris “As president, how would you handle the A$AP Rocky case in Sweden? How will you use your power to make sure misuse of power doesn’t happen in cases like this, and that this case would stay in the State Department and not go to the White House?”
She responded, “There’s no question that this White House is, has been playing politics with his role of leadership, and it has to end.”
The moderator followed up that response with, “So you’re saying this is another piece on the rap sheet of Donald Trump, this misuse of power in the ASAP Rocky case?”
Harris said, “Yes.”
If you’re not familiar with what happened in the A$AP Rocky case then you could probably understand why Kanye West asked President Trump for help – knowing he would likely be sympathetic to the situation.
A$AP Rocky and his friends were stalked in Sweden. Several people kept following them around and A$AP Rocky asked them to stop. When a fight broke out, you could hear the rapper saying they didn’t want any part of it. There is partial video of the situation.
And Sweden has a weird bail system. They technically do have bail but it hasn’t been granted in 10 years.
That’s why Trump intervened. It’s certainly not a power play. Trump was happy to help his friend Kanye West out.
