Progressive politics in Hollywood have been unbearable over the past five years.
Donald Trump’s election gave liberals an excuse to veer off the deep end.
Now Hollywood leftists are making one obnoxiously “woke” Christmas project.
Just when it seemed as if Hollywood couldn’t get any more ridiculous, far-left actors Seth Rogen and Sarah Silverman are teaming up for an eye-rolling project.
The pair is voicing and producing an animated series called Santa, Inc. where Silverman plays a female elf who wants to be the first nonwhite, nonmale Santa Claus.

Silverman and Rogen have been two of the most outspoken leftists in Hollywood over the past few years.
Silverman, who rose to prominence by being an edgy and foul-mouthed comedian, suddenly chose to come down in favor of censorship.
She essentially shut the door on the type of humor that made her famous.
As for Rogen, he’s an avowed socialist who constantly tears down America; he compared the film American Sniper to Nazi propaganda.
Rogen, who has also profited off edgy comedy, said in an interview, “I’m not one of these comedians who’s, like, ‘People are too PC and it’s ruining comedy.’”
Easy for him to say after amassing tens of millions of dollars with irreverent humor that would’ve been considered over the line by today’s woke censors.
The woke messaging has become relentless, but it’s even more galling coming from people who built their brands on un-PC material.
Silverman actually fought the joke police back in the day when she appeared on Bill Maher’s old ABC show Politically Incorrect.
Now Silverman has become one of the censors.
What’s even more ironic about Silverman’s new position is that she lamented the fact she lost a film role due to an old sketch where she performed in blackface.
Silverman is trying to have it both ways, but she can’t.
Eventually, the cancel mob will come for everyone unless more people stand up.
Most celebrities in Hollywood are followers.
All it will take is a few influential people in the industry to course-correct back toward something approaching normal, and the woke insanity will go away.
Unfortunately, there are still too many liberals willing to go along to get along.
