Everyone knows that Hollywood is filled with self-aggrandizing smug anti-President Trump filmmakers that use the film and television mediums to perpetuate liberal propaganda.
And working class citizens of Middle America are sick to death of the condescension and patronization that funnels out of the fantasy-ridden La La Land. That’s why blue collar Americans are turning their TVs off nowadays.
Then Hollywood just found itself in a whole world of trouble after this actor allegedly lied about this significant event.
You’ve probably heard of the story involving homosexual actor Jussie Smollett by now.
The Empire star claimed that he was beaten by Pres. Trump “MAGA” supporters one late night in Chicago, Illinois several weeks ago at the end of January.
What would be considered a hate crime by the legal definition, he claims two white men accosted him, put a noose around his neck, shouted racist and homophobic slurs, and finally screamed, “This is MAGA Country,” as they left him there bleeding on the street.
But as Chicago police investigated the incident, they didn’t just find holes in the story, they found that Smollett could have allegedly staged the entire attack as some sick perverted way to make Trump supporters seem like violent hate mongers.
Facts are still coming out and nothing is concrete yet but it appears from multiple sources that the two guys he hired worked on Empire and are allegedly cooperating with police right now.
And this is a very bad look for Hollywood because almost every celebrity elitist on social media pounced on Trump supporters as if they were to blame for an alleged heinous hate crime.
As the new information unfolded that Smollett may have orchestrated this incident, many Hollywood elitists were still in denial and even have the audacity to say that the Chicago Police Department is racist.
Rapper Cardi B sent a video, “I’m not gonna say, yet, until he says out his mouth that it was fake and the s— was staged. I don’t want to completely blame him because… somebody that I was talking to, they said police in Chicago are racist and so they might probably be trying to frame him and make him look like he’s a liar.”
That’s about as anecdotal as it gets. Just because one person told you that police in Chicago are racist you suddenly label the entire force that way?
Ava DuVernay is a director and producer known for Disney’s A Wrinkle in Time and the Martin Luther King Junior biopic Selma – she tweeted, “Despite the inconsistencies, I can’t blindly believe Chicago PD. The department that covered up shooting Laquan McDonald over a dozen times? That operated an off-site torture facility? That one? I’ll wait. Whatever the outcome, this won’t stop me from believing others. It can’t.”
Why do Hollywood elitists hate police officers so much?
Unfortunately, it really does boil down to that. They want to demonize every person with a red Make America Great Again hat and treat it like it’s Nazi paraphernalia.
And now this is going to make people skeptical of any claim that comes out of Hollywood. That’s why the industry is in trouble. If this attack was staged and all of these Hollywood elitists blindly jumped on the bandwagon so quickly, then Hollywood’s credibility just went right out the window.
