Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan is probably a name you haven’t heard in a while given that his popularity peaked in the 1980s.
The limits of his fame knew no bounds because he was one of the most recognizable faces in the entire world and his signature move – ripping off his tank top – was enough to make tens of thousands of people go absolutely wild.
But the legend has resurfaced again to team up with this famous actor that dropped a big hint about one unbelievable future project.
The sport of wrestling is as complicated as it is simple.
While it just seems as simple as two guys tangling off-the-cuff, there is an art form in the ring and behind the scenes that is designed to maximize the dramatic intention that has won the hearts of millions of fans over the last four decades.
Maybe the most recognizable wrestler of all time was the iconic Andre the Giant – who to say was larger-than-life, is both literal and figurative. Mythology surrounded the 500-pound 7-foot-four French giant, like the time he drank 102 beers in 45 minutes before flight.
But then Hulk Hogan came around and stole some of his thunder. At first, Hogan was Andre’s protégé but then it turned sour (intentionally and dramatically so) becoming archenemies, which lead up to the 1987 iconic Wrestlemania III matchup where Hogan shockingly defeated the giant.
That fight, and much more, has made Hogan almost inarguably the most famous wrestler of all time. And he is not happy with the direction that the WWE has taken with tag team titles.
That’s why he enlisted the help of Academy Award-winning actor Jamie Foxx’s help to send the company a message.
He wrote, “Me and Jamie are really tired of all the back and forth crap with the titles, from Shane/Miz connection, theBar, the USOS,NXT teams, etc. The Fox/HollyWood-Real East/West connection is coming to take the Raw and Smackdown tag team titles brother.”

Now you might be thinking that this was a chance occurrence – that Foxx and Hogan just so happened to be friends hanging out when they sent this picture out into the social media realm.
However, you might be shocked to learn that the reason why Hogan was excommunicated from the WWE was because of racist rants where he repeatedly used the N-word in 2015. And he allegedly brought up Jamie Foxx by name and also called him, “his billionaire black friend.”
Judging by the picture, this is all water under the bridge. That means it’s safe to assume that these two are very good friends.
Also, Foxx is just starting to get back into the Hollywood game after taking some time off from the industry with an upcoming slate of movies starting in 2020. Why wouldn’t he take some time off? After all, he is a billionaire, right?
So this could be the perfect time for the actor to venture into new territory and put his name on the map again. It would give Hogan the chance to rectify his controversial 2015 incident with a mind-blowing event alongside an A-list actor.
This would be earth-shattering news if he decides to return to the ring because the 65-year-old champion hasn’t stepped in to challenge another wrestler since his WWE appearance in 2006.
