Donald Trump helped rip the mask off Hollywood.
Many celebrities exposed themselves as unhinged leftists during Trump’s presidency.
Now one Hollywood celebrity bashed Republicans for opposing one radical policy.
The hard Left has been relentlessly pushing radical transgender ideology onto the American people, and it’s filtering down to children.
It’s become a mainstream talking point on the Left that men can get pregnant and menstruate.
And it goes far beyond that.
Radical transgender activists are attempting to obliterate the obvious distinctions between men and women.
Now transgender actor Laverne Cox, perhaps best known from Orange Is the New Black, is bashing Republicans and conservatives for blocking the radical trans agenda.
Red states across the country are protecting female sports from biological males who identify as transgender.
Connecticut track became a flashpoint for the debate when two biological males competed in girls’ track and dominated every race for two seasons, denying biological females spots in track meets and visibility for college scholarships.
Cox said of the GOP lawmakers:
“What they’re trying to do is to dehumanize these children, which is so heartbreaking…It’s really heartbreaking when you see the way they’re talking, the fervor with which they’re going after these children. In the face of that, we have to insist on the humanity of everyone. Insist on the humanity of trans people, and particularly the humanity of trans children.”
It’s common for leftists to use children as human shields for their radical agenda.
For example, Swedish teen Greta Thunberg has become the Left’s favorite mascot for their hardcore environmentalist gambit.
The security of children is being trotted out as an excuse for Drag Queen Story Hour at libraries, even though some drag performers themselves are strongly opposed to it.
Drag performer Kitty Demure said on Twitter, “I have absolutely no idea why you would want that to influence your child. Would you want a stripper or a porn star to influence your child? You can raise your child to be just a normal regular everyday child without including them in gay, sexual things.”
Unfortunately, that’s not how gay and transgender activists think and move.
Cox added:
“A few years ago, they were all about bathrooms. There was a slew of bills as legislators all over the country attacked trans people in the bathroom. We were able to fight back against that with the lived experience and humanity of trans people…And with all the fearmongering they were doing about bathrooms, people realized that it wasn’t about bathrooms. It was about trying to make trans people not exist.”
Activists always use apocalyptic language when making their case; nobody was trying to zap transgender people out of existence.
It was about maintaining biological distinctions and realities, and conservatives were proven correct because the activists quickly moved on to another target, i.e. sports.
Transgender activists are trying to make the argument that biological males have zero physical advantage in athletic competition, which is ludicrous.
Cox then targeted the GOP’s economic agenda:
“I think a lot of conservatives were very frustrated when marriage equality became the law of the land, and when that decision came down, they were like, ‘OK, what can we do to fearmonger? What can we do to divide people on cultural issues?’ The conservative party doesn’t have an economic message for working-class people, so they are weaponizing cultural wars. They’re talking about Dr. Seuss and transgender children playing sports when there’s still a global pandemic, and people have lost their jobs.”
This is laughable because Republicans were fighting to keep the economy going when the Democrat plan was to pay people to stay home indefinitely.
The result is a predictable labor force participation crisis coupled with record-high inflation.
