Alec Baldwin is blaming everyone but himself for the death he caused on a movie set.
Baldwin recklessly handled a gun, and a crewmember ended up dead.
And even Hollywood actors ripped Baldwin for the horrific thing he did.
Alec Baldwin is still under the microscope after he fired a gun during filming for a western called Rust.
The bullet struck director Joel Souza and cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, and Hutchins tragically died.
Baldwin sat for an exclusive interview with former Clinton hatchetman George Stephanopoulos who’s now the lead anchor for ABC News.
During Baldwin’s teary-eyed interview, he said a lot that did not make any sense, e.g. he did not pull the trigger.
But actor John Schneider from The Dukes of Hazzard, Smallville, and several other shows called “bullsh*t” on Baldwin’s weepy interview.
Schneider started off his video rant by calling out Stephanopoulos for the political hack that he is.
Schneider said:
“First of all, George Stephanopoulos is the poster boy for leftist propaganda, so why anyone in the world would look at an interview with George as being anything enlightening or having a modicum of truth I don’t know…This journalist has walked the party line since he showed up at the party’s front door.”
When he ran comms for Bill Clinton, Stephanopoulos gleefully threatened to ruin young reporters’ careers if they ran negative stories about the Clintons.
And nobody ever asked the question if Stephanopoulos was responsible for spiking the Jeffrey Epstein exposé that ABC reporter Amy Robach had.
Schneider continued:
“Are we to believe that a gun went off by itself? Are we to believe that someone didn’t pull a trigger? Are we to believe that somehow, magically, on the first part of your teary-eyed nonsensical ‘journalism’ that we believe that Alec didn’t pull the trigger and then, what, three paragraphs later, it’s described how he did in fact pull the trigger? And no one calls attention to that? Seriously? No one calls attention to that?”
Schneider wasn’t the only actor who had issues with Baldwin’s story.
Hollywood superstar and outspoken liberal George Clooney said he always took responsibility for the guns he was given on set.
Clooney said:
“I’ve been on sets for 40 years and the person that hands you the gun, the person that is responsible for the gun is either the prop or the armorer, period…Now every single time I’m handed a gun on the set, every time they hand me a gun I look at it, I open it. I show it to the person I’m pointing it to, I show it to the crew. Every single take you had to go back to the armorer when you’re done…You do it again and part of it is because of what happened to Brandon [Lee], everyone does it. Everybody knows and maybe Alec did that, hopefully he did do that.”
Brandon Lee, Bruce Lee’s son, was famously killed during filming of The Crow when the fragment of a bullet was accidentally left in the chamber of a gun, then a blank round expelled the fragment and struck Lee.
When Stephanopoulos asked Baldwin about what Clooney said, Baldwin replied:
“Well, there were a lot of people who felt it necessary to contribute some comment to the situation, which really didn’t help the situation. At all. If your protocol is you check the gun every time, well, good for you. I’ve probably handled weapons as much as any other actor in films with an average career. Again, shooting or being shot by someone…And in that time, I had a protocol and it never let me down.”
Baldwin knows he’s in deep trouble, and his only way out is to blame everyone else but himself.
