Joe Biden’s policies have spelled doom for the American people.
But Democrats have been twisting themselves in knots to justify his mistakes.
Now one Fox Sports host defended Biden’s economy and immediately regretted it.
Under Joe Biden, inflation has hit a 40-year-high, and it’s the worst since the 1940s if using the Consumer Price Index model from 1982.
Gas inflation has been particularly crippling, reaching the highest prices ever.
Fox Sports host Shannon Sharpe was the latest celebrity to make note of the astronomically high prices.
Anyone knows someone hiring that owns a gas station? You get a discount IF* you wrk at an establishment. Do ppl still siphon off gas? It was a thing when I was a growing up. pic.twitter.com/cfmKNOGhoI

When a user on Twitter pointed out that gas prices were never anywhere this bad under Donald Trump, Sharpe responded by saying he would pay $20 per gallon if it meant not having Trump in office.
I’d rather pay 20 bucks a gallon than have Trump in office. Hope that answers your question https://t.co/zdL1hgZ17P

It didn’t take long for people to jump all over Sharpe’s tone-deaf comment.
Shannon Sharpe makes $3 million a year.
But he wants you and I to suffer because Donald Trump hurts his feelings. Clown. https://t.co/GPJ41OFPPd

Sharpe’s comments were reminiscent of comedian Bill Maher saying he was hoping for a recession in order to get Trump out of office.
Well, the economic crunch came on Biden’s watch, and the Democrats are scrambling to defend his policies.
The administration tried blaming the gas price hike on the war in Ukraine, but the American people are not responding to that messaging.
Even CNN host Abby Phillip admitted:
“Take a look at this Quinnipiac poll. Americans just don’t buy that this is related to the war in Ukraine, and most of it, frankly, is not. 41% say it’s Biden’s policies, just 24% say the war in Ukraine. 24% also say the oil and gas companies are raising prices. But the White House is trying to do both, blame Putin, blame the oil and gas companies, but Americans just don’t agree.”
Despite what Shannon Sharpe said, people are rethinking the mean tweets and cheap gas of the Trump administration.
