The border crisis continues to be one of the key issues facing the country.
But Democrats and open borders advocates either downplay or ignore the problems created by illegal immigration.
Now a documentary filmmaker became a Trump supporter after one shocking immigration discovery.
The problem of border security was one of the primary issues that propelled Donald Trump to the presidency.
Illegal immigration is something the American people constantly vote against when given the opportunity, yet they continue to get more of it.
Globalists, Democrats, and RINOs are all in favor of more illegal immigration, which has caused major problems for the country.
Documentary filmmaker Namrata Singh Gujral did not believe the arguments from Trump and other border hawks, and endeavored to make a pro-immigration film.
However, her research into the topic made her realize that illegal immigration is bad for everyone involved.
In an interview The Daily Caller, Gujral said:
“I set out to make a film that was going to be very pro-illegal immigration, pro-caravans, pro-migrants, that’s where I started. The film ended up completely different, and I think it was because I stuck with the investigation.”
Gujral was essentially “redpilled” and learned that many of the talking points surrounding immigration were fake.
She continued:
“I was at a crossroads. Do I tell the truth and go ahead and make the film or do I walk away from the film because it doesn’t agree with me or my industry? I decided to stay truthful to my craft of filmmaking and tell the story as I saw it without bias or preconceived notions.”
One of the turning points for Gujral came when she learned about the high rates of sexual assault suffered by women and young girls at the hands of coyotes, and the countless people who die in the desert on the perilous journey north.
Gujral said that Democrat candidates announcing open borders policies and free healthcare serves as a magnet for migrants and a recruiting tool for traffickers.
Gujral also discovered that the corporate press was actively lying about the people coming over and the circumstances they were leaving.
During the interview, Gujral said that her film caused her to do a 180 on Trump.
“A few months ago I would have absolutely voted for Biden…and I’m actually going to vote for Trump, which I never thought I would be saying, and it’s because of what I found in the movie.”
This isn’t the first time a documentary filmmaker discovered an uncomfortable truth that put her at odds with the film industry.
Filmmaker Cassie Jaye set out to make a film about online misogyny, but soon learned about the excesses of radical feminism.
Her film aptly titled “The Red Pill” essentially got her canceled in Hollywood after initially being an indie darling.
Movies that cut against the left-wing narrative are twice as hard to get made, promoted, and distributed as the average film.
The film “Unplanned” about former Planned Parenthood employee of the year Abby Johnson who ultimately became a pro-life activist was barely able to find a lead actress.
Several actresses backed out after being told by their agents and managers that appearing in the film could destroy their careers.
Gujral’s film “America’s Forgotten” did not receive the red carpet treatment it would’ve gotten for promoting the opposite message, but it is currently available on streaming.
