The Democrats and their media allies are emptying the clip on Ron DeSantis.
And the left-wing celebrity class has been unleashed against him.
Now an ‘80s pop star has accused DeSantis of something truly unbelievable.
The left controls the corporate press, academia, K-12, and the entertainment world, so it’s easy to unleash a full-on assault on their right-wing opponents.
That’s what Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is experiencing at the moment.
Since the Democrats have targeted him, the left-wing smear machine knows to fall into line by flooding the media ecosystem with propaganda.
Now ‘80s pop star Cyndi Lauper is taking her shots at the Governor.
In reaction to DeSantis’s fight against wokeness, Lauper said, “Equality for everybody, or nobody’s really equal…This is how Hitler started … just weeding everybody out.”
It never fails.
For at least the last 50 years, every popular Republican has been compared to Hitler or Mussolini or simply a run-of-the-mill fascist.
The truth is Mussolini was a life-long socialist while fascism sprung forth from the intellectually “enlightened” left, but Lauper and other liberals would never acknowledge that fact.
She continued, “I don’t think it’s a good idea what they’re doing but, you know, you just have to keep fighting for civil rights…I guess that’s the way it is in this country. Started out like that, didn’t it?”
Lauper’s main gripe was in response to Florida taking a stand against irreversible medical interventions on children with gender dysphoria.
According to the left, prohibiting children from undergoing life-altering surgeries is akin to Hitler.
This is how extreme they have become.
Useful idiots like Lauper don’t even realize what they’re supporting.
DeSantis put out a fact sheet that challenged the left’s narrative he was banning books in the state of Florida.
The fact sheet read, “Florida has taken a stand against pornography and sexual material in the classroom. HB 1557 and HB 1467 further solidify Florida’s commitment to ensuring the content available in our schools is appropriate for students. Statute 847.012 has been in law for many years and carries a felony penalty for the distribution of pornographic material to children.”
DeSantis also retweeted a video exposing the despicable books being presented to children.
Warning: This video contains pornographic images and content not suitable for children. If you can’t read these books at a school board meeting, should they be in a school? https://t.co/gHBoQh5eYa

Lauper pulled the same nonsense in 2016 when Donald Trump was running for president.
She said, “The things that he says are appalling to me and shocking. I was so shocked when he started to talk about the LGBT community…That guy is selling inflammatory things that I have never in my whole entire life heard … except, you know, Hitler.”
It’s unclear exactly what Lauper was talking about because Trump hugged the pride flag and invited tech billionaire Peter Thiel, who is gay, onto the stage during the Republican National Convention – and whom was met with big applause.
Under Trump, Ric Grennell was the first openly gay person to serve in a cabinet position.
Leftists throw out the same lazy attacks against all Republicans because they’ve run out of substantive arguments.
DeSantis won reelection by a whopping 20 points, so Lauper and other leftists are going to need a new line of attack if they expect a decent shot at the Governor.
