The View is both dumb and nasty at the same time.
And the show hosts take turns spouting off the worst takes and politics.
And comedian Whoopi Goldberg insulted Christians with one mind-blowing comment.
Just when you thought The View couldn’t go any lower, Whoopi Goldberg took the show to a new depth.
During a mind-numbing rant, Goldberg suggested that Christian doctors were allowing gay people to die.
Goldberg got suspended from the show for shockingly stating that the Holocaust was not about race, bizarrely defending Hitler.
This same person seems to have utter disdain for Christians.
Goldberg began the braindead diatribe saying, “Where do [pro-lifers] stand on war?” believing she had scored a debate point.
First, the people most likely to oppose escalation with a nuclear power in the Ukrainian War are right-wingers.
In fact, Democrats have slammed war skeptics as “Putin apologists,” making the same argument the neocons did during the War on Terror.
Donald Trump ran on ending the wars, and he did not start any new conflicts while in office.
So Goldberg needs to look in the mirror on her war position.
She continued, “I need all of the religious people to understand that those who do not follow or subscribe to your beliefs also have rights in this country. They have the right not to believe. You don’t have to — I don’t have to believe what you believe. You don’t have to believe what I believe.”
That is not an argument made by religious people.
Those invoking religious freedom want safeguards against the authoritarian left that wants to force Christian bakers and photographers to provide special accommodations for gay weddings.
Goldberg added, “[Y]ou don’t really have the right to stand and tell me that you’re a doctor, but you won’t take care of me because I’m gay, you know? You don’t have that right anymore. We got — we’ve fought because some people died trying to get to a doctor, and a doctor who would not see them. So when you talk about right to life, whose life are we talking about? Because if you are talking about what I believe and what you believe, when you have a Hippocratic Oath, you don’t draw a line. You don’t make those distinctions. And so for me, I get very frustrated because I don’t mind you not believing as I believe. I mind when you try to get in my way when I’m talking for myself. That pisses me off to no end.”
Goldberg did not cite any instances of gay people being denied care by a doctor because of their sexuality.
That is an absurd accusation to throw at the feet of Christians.
But this is what the left does.
Leftists demonize Christians and conservatives in the most despicable terms and poison the well for people that don’t know any better.
