Hollywood stars are expected to recite the left’s “woke” talking points.
But Chris Pratt refuses to do so.
And Pratt just delivered one faith message that angered liberals.
Superstar actor Chris Pratt has starred in several blockbuster films but continues to get dogged by a certain cross-section of fans.
Pratt is pro-American, pro-gun, and a proud Christian – which is why he’s been voted as the “Most Hated Chris” among fellow movie stars Chris Evans and Chris Pine, both of whom are completely on board with the liberal agenda.
Pratt was recently asked about catching flak for his Christian beliefs and said, “That’s nothing new….. that’s nothing new, you know? … If I was of this world, they would love me just like that but as it is, I’ve chosen out of this world. That’s John 15:18 through 20…That’s the way it is, nothing new, 2,000 years ago they hated him, too.”
Pratt pointed out that if people hate Jesus, then they’ll certainly hate an actor who believes in Jesus too.
Despite the outside criticism, those who know Pratt have vouched for his personal character.
Pratt got heat for not participating in a Marvel Cinematic Universe table read fundraiser for Joe Biden in 2020.
His fellow Marvel stars came to his defense.
Guardians director James Gunn also defended Pratt when the cancel mob came for him.
“It absolutely infuriates me…I know all those guys, and I like all those guys. But Chris Pratt is seriously one of the best people in my life…He’s unspeakably kind to people, he goes out of his way to help kids…He’s an especially loving father, and there’s just a lot of stuff that people have literally just made up about him. About his politics, about who he is, about what he believes of other people. I mean it’s—it’s just insane. And it really gets me very, very, angry,” Gunn said.
Currently, Pratt is having a huge box office run.
He voiced the lead character of Mario in the animated Super Mario Bros. movie and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 just got released.
And while Pratt does not speak out on politics, he did endorse Rick Caruso for Mayor of Los Angeles against far-left candidate Karen Bass.
Caruso was a Republican who supported Donald Trump in 2016, but switched party affiliation to run as a moderate Democrat in Los Angeles.
Pratt wrote on social media, “I’ve lived in LA for over 20 years. It’s been great to me. In that time I’ve seen what many residents here have seen, the city’s gradual decline into pain and utter disarray. If you live here, you know exactly what I’m talking about. I don’t normally support political candidates. But in this election, there’s too much to lose. If you’re an LA voter, I urge you to vote for @rickcarusola. He’s a builder. He knows how to get s**t done. He’s the guy for our city. Rick Caruso for LA Mayor.”
Bass ended up eking out a narrow win, but Caruso’s spirited run shows that even Los Angelens are getting fed up.
