The entire entertainment industry is always reminding America how much they hate Donald Trump.
They must think that their umpteenth denunciation of Trump will finally convince people.
And one country singer issued a warning about Trump that instantly blew up in her face.
The path to giant success in the entertainment industry essentially goes through the left.
Since leftists control virtually all of entertainment media, catering to the left is what so many celebrities do, both sincerely and insincerely.
Taylor Swift was harried for years for not using her platform to speak out on social issues.
During the 2018 midterm, finally got political and made a hard turn to the left.
She endorsed Democrat Phil Bredesen for the Senate in Tennessee, but Republican Marsha Blackburn still won.
Now country singer Kacey Musgraves is wading into the political waters and making the “brave” move to attack Donald Trump.
Musgraves said a vote for Trump was “an act of violence” against members of the LGBT community.
But Trump’s former Director of National Intelligence Rick Grenell, who is openly gay, shot down Musgraves’ inane message with one tweet.
Twitter should ban this piece of fake news. This isn’t remotely correct.
Stop making gay rights a partisan issue, Kacey! You aren’t helping gay people one bit.
We aren’t tokens. @getoutspoken20 https://t.co/acaGAfJJnK

Grenell essentially called out the left’s favorite tactic of declaring all opposing thought violence.
Expressing conservative views is violence, but so is silence according to the left.
That only leaves one option: compliance.
Democrats use this strategy with every single identity group inside their fracturing coalition.
Their claims of racism, sexism, homophobia, xenophobia, Islamophobia, and any other slander are just rhetorical weapons that are losing potency.
The argument that Trump is anti-LGBT is a peculiar one.
Trump said gay marriage was settled law, and has garnered support from many member of the community, including tech billionaire Peter Thiel, who got a standing ovation at the 2016 Republican National Convention.
In reality, there’s an internal fight within the LGBT community between gay and transgender individuals.
Grenell himself has been a target of the left because he busts the myth that there is no gay support for Trump or Republican politics more broadly.
Grenell was also a bulldog in hearing about the Russiagate hoax by declassifying information.
Musgraves and other celebrities seem to have become more unhinged in their political rants because they just don’t hold as much political sway as they once did.
