Jimmy Kimmel is one of the leaders of the anti-President Trump Hollywood cult that bashes him nightly and refuses to give him any credit on his many successes.
The ABC star suddenly became a “political guru” shockingly around the same time then-candidate Trump was tearing up the Republican field back in 2016. That means that Kimmel despises our commander in chief so much that he makes his show and everything he’s involved with political including two consecutive years when he hosted the Academy Awards.
Now apparently he despises all Congressional members because he had some choice words for politicians following the mass shootings.
You might remember one of the most embarrassing moments in Oscar history when Pricewaterhouse Coopers – the auditing firm in charge of the envelopes for the winners – mixed up the Best Picture winner, which was read as “La La Land” but it was actually “Moonlight.”
It was a literal jaw-dropping moment when you saw the look of embarrassment from everyone involved including host Jimmy Kimmel who tried to crack a joke to ease out of the awkward moment but failed miserably.
That particular Academy Award ceremony was riddled with anti-Trump rhetoric and the ratings plummeted.
The following year, ABC asked their late night talent to host again with the promise that there wouldn’t be more Trump vitriol and the ratings still went down.
But that doesn’t stop Kimmel from getting political on his ABC show “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” whenever he feels like it. However, this time it was at the Television Critics Association where he was featured during a panel called “A Conversation with Jimmy Kimmel.”
In regards to the El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio tragedies Kimmel candidly said, “Well, [Trump] handles everything beautifully as we know. I think it’s horrible. I think now there is an expectation that late-night talk shows will address these horrible things and I wish we didn’t have to, but nobody’s doing anything about it at all. And we seem to forget about these tragedies nationally four days after they happened.
If I know that I don’t have any thoughts that are new or groundbreaking, then usually by the time we get on the air there’s been 24, 48 hours of news coverage. But to just remind people that 97 percent of Americans believe that we should have background checks for gun purchases at gun shows, and our politicians don’t seem to care about what we think anymore.”
It’s clear he’s specifically talking about Republicans in Congress who want to save the Second Amendment from being gutted by liberals because it’s the right of every American to be able to defend themselves against enemies foreign and domestic – including from tyranny of oppression from the U.S. government if it came to that.
We have a mentally ill problem due to poor education and the fact that parenting is without question abysmal when it comes to these mass shooters. How could you not know if your child is having aggressively violent tendencies?
Also, Trump handled himself very well when he addressed the nation condemning this kind of violence.
Trump said, “In one voice our nation must condemn racism, bigotry and white supremacy. These sinister ideologies must be defeated.”
While liberals were begging him to say exactly what they wanted to hear him say, liberals then self-righteously proclaimed that he didn’t mean any of it. There’s no winning for Trump.
