The Democrats are out to get Donald Trump.
They’re wielding every weapon at their disposal to overturn the results of the 2016 election.
Now the left is using a hit musical to further their anti-Trump mission.
Democrats are going to great extremes to take down Trump.
They’re perpetuating the insane Russia collusion narrative with non-stop media coverage.
And countless times, stories regarding Trump and Russia have proven to be fake news, causing a wave of retractions.
Most recently, the New York Times tried to spin a story about the FBI opening a counter-intelligence investigation against Trump because he fired James Comey, which is perfectly within his rights.
The more that comes out about the FBI gives credence to the theory that they were the tip of the spear in a deep-state coup to unseat Trump.
Another powerful weapon the Democrats use is entertainment media.
Leftists have had a near monopoly on the arts for decades, and they aren’t bashful about using their cultural influence to further their agenda.
A stark example of this is the Broadway hit musical “Hamilton.”
Show creator and performer Lin-Manuel Miranda and his fellow castmates are big leftists that constantly spout politics.
After a performance of the show, cast members scolded Mike Pence as he sat in attendance.
And Miranda routinely criticizes Trump and Republicans on social media.
Now he gets to do it in front of a throng of Democratic lawmakers.
Miranda, born and raised in New York but of Puerto Rican descent, is putting on a production of “Hamilton” in Puerto Rico.
In light of Hurricane Maria, Democrats have tried to use the island as a political club against Trump and the GOP.
The media even exaggerated the Maria death toll in an attempt to make Trump look bad.
All of a sudden, every news outlet was using the same talking point of Hurricane Maria being Trump’s “Katrina moment.”
The left tried to paint the narrative that Trump wasn’t doing enough to aid in relief and recovery, even though he provided everything local officials asked for.
But in the midst of the government shutdown spurred by Democrats’ unwillingness to protect American citizens, 30 Democrats and an army of lobbyists are descending on Puerto Rico to take in the hit show and discuss policy.
While the government shutdown drags on, dozens of Congressional Democrats are staying at $289/night hotel in Puerto Rico this weekend and watching $350/ticket showings of Hamilton. https://t.co/9dhcbqg0hR pic.twitter.com/dPe9TxfNmE

Coincidentally, the show sparked controversy when it was forced to move production from the University of Puerto Rico over safety issues.
Members of the school are mired in protests over a perceived dearth of funding and tuition hikes.
This shouldn’t come as any surprise because big-government areas like Puerto Rico are always terrible with fiscal responsibility.
The vacation is serving as a de facto summit for Democrats to strategize, and push for more government aid.
Meanwhile, the same Democrats don’t show nearly the same concern for the continental United States as they do for the island territory.
The Democrats wouldn’t dare visit the southern border or national parks that have been ravaged by illegal immigration.
