Bill Cosby is in a world of trouble right now.
The former comedian and television star was just convicted on three counts of sexual assault. At his age, he could spend the rest of his life in prison.
But two things just happened to Cosby that no one saw coming.
Bill Cosby was a world-class entertainer.
He was until dozens of women accused him of sexual deviances.
And it’s important to keep in mind this was before the Me Too Movement began.
On Tuesday, Cosby’s Hollywood Walk of Fame star was vandalized with the words, “Serial Rapist,” on it. https://offthewire.com/disgraced-bill-cosby-in-trouble-all-over-again/

Then Bill Cosby received more bad news on that same day.
Bill Cosby received more bad news
Cosby’s sentencing date is on September 24th for three counts of aggravated sexual assault.
These are serious charges that will likely put him in prison for at least ten years.
And that’s a death sentence because he’s 81-years-old.
The Montgomery County D.A. filed a briefing, “They will provide testimony relevant to the proper assessment of defendant’s character, background, dangerousness to the community, and rehabilitative needs.”
That is a nightmare for the Cosby Show star.
The D.A. claimed it’s legal to do this as well because they noted, “This relevant information may include uncharged criminal conduct, even if it involved a different victim and did not result in conviction.”
His attorneys replied to the motion, “The District Attorney’s latest Motion is another publicity stunt, not supported by ANY existing Pennsylvania law.”
The prosecutors want the harshest sentence possible by any means necessary.
This is a great strategy to achieve that.
However, it’s not clear if the presiding judge will allow this.
And things got even worse for him on September 5th too.
A former member of Cosby’s defense team sued the disgraced comedian for an undisclosed amount for unpaid legal fees.

The suit was filed by a Philadelphia-based law firm called Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis.
Everyone knows that legal expenses add up and can oftentimes bankrupt them.
Nobody knows that better than O.J. Simpson.
Simpson’s “dream team” of lawyers cost him approximately $50,000 a day. And that was in the mid-1990s so you can probably imagine that it would be a whole lot more today.
However, Simpson was fortunate to offset this cost in a unique way.

The disgraced Hall of Famer sold memorabilia while he sat in prison for a little of a year.
He signed everything from sports cards to jerseys.
Simpson even signed pictures of him and defense attorney Johnnie Cochran of the two while they were in court for the “Trial of the Century.”
Simpson’s former agent, Mike Gilbert, also launched a merchandising campaign that was wildly successful.
You have to remember that there were a lot of people who believed he was innocent of the crimes while the trial occurred.
That’s why it was considered valuable on the memorabilia market.
However, this probably isn’t the case with Cosby.
You probably won’t be able to find anybody who would want his autograph in the first place.
In fact, you’d probably have to pay somebody to want it.
Cosby will likely spend the rest of his life in prison.
Do you think he deserves it?
