Skier Lindsey Vonn was one of many athletes who insufferably inserted political messaging into the Olympics.
Vonn said she would not compete for Donald Trump, and figure skater Adam Rippon took numerous unprovoked shots at Vice President Mike Pence.
Now Vonn is back spewing left-wing talking points that makes the mainstream media swoon.
During an impromptu interview outside the airport, Vonn said men and women would eventually compete against each other in sports.
From Breitbart:
Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn told TMZ Sports she is trying to compete against the men, and “eventually” men and women will compete against each other in sports like skiing — but not in the Olympics.
“Not the Olympics, for sure not,” Vonn said of the idea of the two sexes competing.
Vonn went on to say it is yet to happen because “no one likes change,” but she added it would “eventually” and it is just a matter of time.
Lindsey Vonn Says Women Will Compete vs. Men Eventually, ‘No One Likes Change’ | TMZ Sports
Lindsey Vonn says women competing against men in sports like skiing is a matter of WHEN, not if … and it would’ve happened already if people weren’t so opposed to change. For years, women fought for equality in sports and society as a whole. Over the years, women’s sports have done relatively well, but now radical leftists want to undo that progress by suggesting that there are no biological differences between men and women, or that gender is simply a social construct.
Having men and women compete against each other not only denies biological realities, it also takes opportunities away from female competitors.
This is one reason why classical feminists are against the push for male-to-female transgender athletes to compete with women.
As for Vonn, her comments shouldn’t come as a surprise. She’s fully committed to leftist orthodoxy, which was on full display when she said she wouldn’t visit Trump’s White House under any circumstances.
From CBS Sports:
Lindsey Vonn hopes to win more Olympic medals at February’s Winter Games in Pyeongchang, but she said she won’t be attending the White House to meet Donald Trump afterward if she’s invited. Vonn, the most successful female alpine skier of all time and one of the stars of the U.S. contingent set to compete in South Korea, took aim at the president with pointed remarks in an interview with CNN.
“Well, I hope to represent the people of the United States, not the president,” Vonn told CNN. “I take the Olympics very seriously and what they mean and what they represent, what walking under our flag means in the opening ceremony. I want to represent our country well. I don’t think that there are a lot of people currently in our government that do that.”

In the CNN interview, she also said she wouldn’t accept an invitation to the White House.
“Absolutely not. No,” Vonn said. “But I have to win to be invited. No, actually I think every U.S. team member is invited … so no, I won’t go.”
Since the conclusion of the 2018 games, Vonn has reaffirmed that position. Expect more virtue-signaling from Vonn as the Olympic team’s visit to the White House nears.
