Leave it up to the late-night talk show hosts to add fuel to the ever-growing liberal fire. You usually can trace the bloviating hyperbole that develops on social media throughout the day back to one of the anti-Trump “comics” from the night before.
The late-night platform is where all of these “jokes” fester and are regurgitated by the liberal cesspool that invades social media on a daily basis.
And the biggest anti-Trump late-night comic had these three words for Trump’s wall that was way over the line.
Liberals are the main obstructionists when it comes to keeping our border safe. If you let them have their way then they would let anybody and everybody into this country without due diligence.
It’s not only sad they think that’s a solution, but it’s incredibly dangerous to all Americans. That’s exactly why President Trump wants a wall along the US-Mexico southern border.
It was just reported but there are three caravans on their way to the border and one of them has an estimated 12,000 people in it. If we had a wall then it would be much easier to stop them from crossing.
This isn’t rocket science but unfortunately, liberals welcome this kind of chaos.
In the midst of the government reopening, Colbert audaciously claimed that Democrats setting aside money for border security is the “definition of insanity.”
Colbert told his audience, “So, just to be clear.. He’s making the exact same offer, backed by the exact same threat, but somehow he expects different results. Well, you know what they say, the definition of insanity is Donald Trump.”
He’s, of course, referring to the ridiculous notion that liberals somehow perceive that Trump caved.
That’s not what happened at all. Trump was obviously thinking about the 800,000 federal employees who hadn’t been paid in 35 days and the Democrats who were unwilling to secure the southern border.
Democrats, on the other hand, had zero empathy for the unpaid federal workers. All they cared about was being an obstructionist towards Trump’s agenda to keep Americans safe.
So he gave them three weeks to bury the hatchet and find a solution that both sides could agree upon. Otherwise, we may be headed for a shutdown before much longer.
Colbert also clarified what he thought the definition of “insanity” was, which he defined as “doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.” By that very definition, that would apply to the Democrats too, right?
The Democrats keep pulling the same thing over and over by constantly refusing to work across the aisle. What’s the difference?
Christie came on his show and seemed like an old friend of Colbert as they sat there and drink shots of tequila while the former governor criticized 45 and even claimed that he would’ve been a better president than him.Colbert even mentions towards the end of the interview that he did not expect it to be this fun.
But the biggest bombshell that Christie dropped during the interview was that Trump dropped the ball when he shut down the government. He’s wrong.
If anything, Trump was the only one who didn’t drop the ball. One way or the other, Trump will get the wall built and he’s going to make Democrats who refuse to work across the aisle on this issue look silly.
This book tour is some sort of desperate political comeback for Christie. Everything he says should be taken with a grain of salt.
