Sinéad O’Connor is at it again.
The troubled singer has a history of making wild political statements.
But the latest thing she said it truly unhinged.
O’Connor Conversion
Sinéad O’Connor has had a rocky career.
The Irish singer first rose to prominence in the early 1990s.
But her music isn’t the thing she’s most known for.
During a performance on Saturday Night Live in 1992, O’Connor tore up a photo of Pope John Paul II.
O’Connor, who had a Catholic background, received harsh criticism for the disrespectful act.
Years later, she admitted to Oprah Winfrey she has bipolar disorder.
That would certainly explain her erratic behavior.
The latest move she made was converting to Islam.
She now goes by the name Shuhada Davitt.
If Islam is the “religion of peace,” O’Connor certainly hasn’t found it.
Meltdown
During a twitter meltdown, O’Connor said white people are “disgusting” and she no longer wants to be around them:
I’m terribly sorry. What I’m about to say is something so racist I never thought my soul could ever feel it. But truly I never wanna spend time with white people again (if that’s what non-muslims are called). Not for one moment, for any reason. They are disgusting.

She also went on to rant about many things, including President Trump.
One can’t be surprised by her antics after the incident on SNL.
But the comments are eye-opening nonetheless.
Both for their stark racism and their ignorance.
The irony of her being white seems to be lost on her.
Also, Islam is not a race.
It’s a religion.
People of various races and ethnicities practice the religion.
Perhaps what’s more troubling is O’Connor’s sentiments aren’t unique among Muslims.
Obviously not all Muslims feel the way she does.
But many do, and they aren’t shy about it.
And some are members of U.S. Congress.
Ilhan Omar made blatantly anti-Semitic remarks and doubled down on them.
This is a problem leftists continue to ignore.
Political Islam
Leftists claim to be champions of human rights.
But they completely turn a blind eye to the problems with radical Islam.
Former Muslim Raheem Kassam has warned about that exact threat.
Under Sharia law, women are subservient in every way.
But women like Women’s March organizer Linda Sarsour openly promote Sharia.
They say people simply don’t understand it.
Sarsour called for “Jihad” against the White House.
She said people didn’t understand that, either.
“Jihad” means struggle, but in the Quran, it is overwhelmingly used in a violent holy war context.
Even if one were to give Sarsour the benefit of the doubt, that’s a troubling statement.
What she won’t say is Sharia law is a political system.
It’s not just a religion.
Islam, when strictly adhered to, is a supremacist religion.
While Christianity and Judaism are pluralistic, Islam is not.
Under Sharia, infidels must convert or die.
And “people of the book,” i.e. Jews and Christians, are allowed to live as second-class citizens if they pay a tax.
If they refuse, they are either killed or exiled.
O’Connor has not talked much about her conversion.
But it doesn’t sound as if she’s adopted a peaceful strain of Islam.
