Joe Biden is making Americans miserable with his policies.
That’s why Democrats around the country are concerned about a red wave.
And one pro-Trump football legend gave the Democrats some bad news in the midterms.
The Democrats got razor-thin control of the Senate by winning both Georgia run-off elections by the slimmest of margins.
The 50-50 tie allowed Vice President Kamala Harris to be the tiebreaker, but the Republicans are poised to reclaim control of the Senate.
And one of the seats the Republicans might take back is the Georgia seat won by far-left Democrat Raphael Warnock.
Georgia football legend Herschel Walker is running against Warnock, and polls show him with an early lead.
From Breitbart:
“Republican candidate Herschel Walker is narrowly beating incumbent Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA) by 3.5 points in the race for U.S. Senate in Georgia, according to a new poll. The poll, published…by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, found Walker with 47.1 percent support and Warnock with 43.6 percent in a hypothetical general election matchup. 7.8 percent of respondents said they did not know which candidate they would vote for…”
Walker is a newcomer to politics, but he supported long-time friend Donald Trump throughout his presidency, and he spoke on his behalf at the Republican National Convention in 2020.
During his speech, Walker said:
“Most of you know me as a football player. I’m also a father, a man of faith, and a very good judge of character. I have known Donald Trump for 37 years. And I don’t mean we just casually ran into each other from time to time. I’m talking about a deep personal friendship…I take it as a personal insult that people would think I would have a 37-year friendship with a racist. People who think that don’t know what they are talking about. Growing up in the deep south, I have seen racism up close. I know what it is. And it isn’t Donald Trump.”
Meanwhile, Warnock was able to survive several scandals in the run-up to the election.
His ex-girlfriend accused him of driving over her foot with his car, and he gave several radical speeches as a church pastor, even suggesting that Jesus was a Marxist.
Breitbart continued:
“Walker, a former University of Georgia football star and former NFL player, announced his bid for office in August 2021 and shot to the top of the primary field quickly thereafter. Walker had already been publicly backed by former President Donald Trump and was somewhat of a Georgia household name because of his athletic history before he decided to launch his Senate campaign.”
With Trump’s endorsement and strong name recognition in the state, Walker has a good chance to defeat Warnock and flip the Georgia seat red.
Overall, the Democrats could be in deep trouble in the midterms.
Some polls put Joe Biden’s approval numbers at 33%, which means he will be a drag on the entire party.
Prominent Democrats are already running away from him.
