Hollywood is pushing a leftist agenda on audiences.
Liberals deny that there is any propaganda in entertainment fare.
But one far-left Disney show just proved that Ron DeSantis was 100% correct.
The ABC drama A Million Little Things is leaning in hard to leftist propaganda, as are so many other network television shows.
The melodrama includes a storyline of a female-to-male transgender student at odds with her parents.
In one scene, the student asks the teacher Rome, one of the main characters on the show, to talk to her parents about her gender transition.
It turns out that Rome had a past with the student’s father, who, of course, was a racist bully in the past.
Rome meets with the parents and tells them that he will refer to their daughter by her preferred male identity, Maddox (instead of Madison).
Rome says, “[H]e is exceeding all of my expectations. Now, I know it must be really difficult letting go of yours, but while he’s in my class, at least, he gets to be who he is.”
This is stunning arrogance on the part of the teacher, and it’s precisely what Florida governor Ron DeSantis was fighting against with the Parental Rights in Education law.
Leftists smeared it as the “Don’t Say Gay” bill, but DeSantis was combating educators who are increasingly meddlesome when it comes to pushing radical sexual and gender ideologies on children.
Meanwhile, Disney executives bragged about a “not-at-all-secret gay agenda” in the programming.

Some on the left have tried to argue that teachers are not talking to kids about sexual orientation and gender identity, and they’re not affirming the gender of students behind parents’ backs.
But that is provably false.
From The Washington Examiner:
“The parents of a Florida teenager have filed a federal civil rights lawsuit after their daughter’s school directed their child to pursue a gender transition without notifying them. January and Jeffrey Littlejohn of Tallahassee, Florida, filed the suit in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida…seeking to ‘vindicate their fundamental rights to direct the upbringing of their children’ after Deerlake Middle School, where their 13-year-old daughter was enrolled, failed to notify them that their daughter had entered a school-sanctioned gender transition plan.”
Fortunately, “woke” nonsense seems to be dwindling in popularity.
A Million Little Things is posting abysmal ratings.
The episode was the show’s lowest-rated of the season.
