The amount of damage disgraced former quarterback Colin Kaepernick has done when his divisive anti-American actions set the NFL on fire is difficult to calculate.
We know the damage has been catastrophic, but just how much? It doesn’t take a fortune teller to predict that virtually every American sports leagues’ players will kneel in solidarity with Kaepernick nearly four years later after he first disrespected our national anthem.
But one American athlete was praised for standing during the national anthem recently.
We should be wondering whether sports will even return this year before we get ahead of ourselves that players in leagues will almost certainly kneel during the pregame national anthem ceremony.
When they do return, that will be the majority consensus. Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban recently said he would be totally okay if Kaepernick’s divisive actions carried over into the NBA for the continuation of this season.
NBA Commissioner Adam Silver seemed to suggest too that he wouldn’t mind if players kneeled.
One thing you can count on; if the NBA and NFL does it, the rest of American sports leagues will follow their lead.
But one sports league didn’t need the NBA and NFL’s permission to kneel. They’ve already done it.
Players for the Portland Thorns and the North Carolina Courage – teams of the National Women’s Soccer League – knelt during the national anthem just two weeks ago during the Challenge Cup tournament.
Virtually every player knelt during the national anthem, except for one particular goalkeeper named Samantha Murphy of the North Carolina Courage.

According to the Deseret News, the team released a statement saying: “We took a knee today to protest racial injustice, police brutality, and systemic racism against Black people and people of color in America. We love our country and we have taken this opportunity to hold it to a higher standard. It is our duty to demand that the liberties and freedoms this nation was founded upon are extended to everyone.”
If you love your country so much, then why are you disrespecting the flag our veterans fought and died for?
This is precisely the problem. Find another way to protest.
This Zeitgeist moment is liberals hating the United States of America and nowhere is that perfectly clear more than this disgraceful kneeling during the national anthem.
And it’s all Colin Kaepernick’s fault. One has to consider whether this is a ploy for attention, particularly to the league because the ratings and stadium-attendance are so abysmal.
When will this hatred-against-America nightmare end? If the entertainment industries keep propagating Kaepernick to the masses then it never will end. Netflix just announced a Kaepernick drama series focusing on the embattled former quarterback’s high school years.
Unfortunately, this train isn’t stopping any time soon and it will continue to get worse.
