The NFL has been under assault from the left for years.
And the league eventually caved to pressure from its dishonest left-wing critics.
Now the NFL got on board with one ridiculous “woke” protest during the Super Bowl.
Super Bowl LVI turned out to be a success for the NFL, which had wanted football back in Los Angeles for many years to capitalize on the number two television market.
For the most part, the spectacle avoided politics, but there was one moment during the halftime performance that stuck out.
Rapper Eminem, who has been very critical of Donald Trump, kneeled during the spectacle.
Many believe it was an homage to anti-American anthem protester Colin Kaepernick, though others have argued he bowed to show respect to Dr. Dre, the artist who launched his career.
The NFL reportedly told @Eminem he could not kneel tonight.

But as much as the left wanted Eminem’s gesture to be a “speaking truth to power moment,” it was not.
The NFL was fully aware he planned to kneel.
From ESPN:
“The NFL said it did not attempt to stop Eminem from taking a knee during the Super Bowl LVI halftime show Sunday night in Inglewood, California. Eminem performed with hip-hop heavyweights Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar during the well-received halftime show at SoFi Stadium. At the end of ‘Lose Yourself,’ Eminem took a knee on the stage, put his right hand on his head and looked downward.”
Leftists continue to think that they are the counterculture when they are indeed the mainstream culture that is approved by all of the multi-billion-dollar corporations.
NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said, “We watched all elements of the show during multiple rehearsals this week and were aware that Eminem was going to do that.”
Kaepernick has been out of the NFL for five years, yet the left continues to talk about him as if he’s a relevant figure in professional football.
He’s decided to become a revolutionary and write terrible books and make terrible movies and documentaries.
The NFL needs to stop pandering to progressives who will always hate them—many leftists despise the sport—and get back to the basics of entertaining people.
