It was an interesting week one in the NFL.
A handful of players kneeled for the National Anthem, but the quarterback play was really odd.
And that’s why one NBC analyst believes this franchise should sign the embattled former San Francisco 49ers quarterback.
The quarterback play was largely atrocious in week one.
Ben Roethlisberger, Matthew Stafford, and Derek Carr all looked like they had never played quarterback before in the NFL.
The reason why that’s a shock is because those three guys looked like MVP players at some points in their careers.
But there was a lot of poor quarterback play.
One of them was Buffalo Bills quarterback Nathan Peterman who looked no better than when he threw five interceptions in the first half last season.
The organization made a decision yesterday that their rookie first-round pick, Josh Allen, will start in week two.
That’s why Peter King of NBC Sports believes the Bills should pick up the phone and call Kaepernick immediately. https://www.americanpatriotdaily.com/featured/colin-kaepernicks-latest-stunt-will-ruin-the-nfl/
Peter King of NBC Sports believes the Bills should pick up the phone and call Kaepernick
King said to Christopher Russo on SiriusXM’s Mad Dog Sports Radio, “I think the Buffalo Bills should call him today.”
King also said, “I think it’s ridiculous that Kaepernick doesn’t have a job.”
The better question is whether Kaepernick wants to even play football again.
It’s no secret that offers rolled in for him to play.
But he turned them all down.
It’s a gimmick.
Make no mistake Kaepernick loves this.

The Nike advertisement campaign was right up his alley. https://offthewire.com/kaepernicks-nike-ad-was-just-destroyed-by-this-excellent-9-11-tribute/
It said, “Believe in something even if it means sacrificing everything.”
It’s obvious that he loves the idea of being a martyr.
Does he actually want to play football though?
If he wanted to, Kaepernick could be a star in the Canadian Football League.
There was also rumor that he wants too much money to come back.
Kaepernick wants starter money to play backup quarterback.
Who in their right mind would want to do that?
Cap space is a huge problem with teams and when you pay eight figures for a backup then that means it’s less money to spend on other players.
Russo believes that Kaepernick’s purpose for the Bills would be as a placeholder.
He said, “[Kaepernick] will get you through this year. Allen under center, you have no idea if he’s ready and if he can be protected. Maybe he gets shell-shocked to the point that it’s going to affect him the rest of his career.”
Same with Kaepernick.
He hasn’t played football in about two years.
What makes King think that he would be ready? Why wouldn’t he be shell shocked too?
Apparently, his answer is mobility.
King also said, “I do think if you want to get through this year and have a chance, what you need is a QB who is going to be able to make plays with his legs. Nathan Peterman is not that guy. Josh Allen is to some degree, but I’d rather Josh Allen fresh for next year.”
Many quarterbacks are thrown into the lion’s den.
Why not Josh Allen?
Do you remember Peyton Manning’s first year?
He was also. It’s called growing pains. They need to learn like that.
Kaepernick is not the answer.
They need to learn like that Kaepernick is not the answer
Again, he hasn’t played in two years.
What gives King the idea that Kaepernick will be closer to the 2012 version versus the horrible play of his last season?
Do you think the Buffalo Bills should call Kaepernick?
