Leftists understand the significance of creating culture.
That’s why institutions like Hollywood are so overwhelmingly biased toward the left.
But a liberal journalist was forced to admit one truth about a conservative movie.
Liberals are panicking about the film My Son Hunter, which explores the scandalous content on Hunter Biden’s “laptop from hell.”
Despite a limited digital release, the film has been reviewed—and panned—as if it were a wide release in 3,000 theaters.
Ultimately, it’s free publicity for the movie, but the left’s reaction shows just how panicked they are about conservatives creating culture.
Director Robert Davi, who’s acted in many films such as Die Hard and The Goonies, is one of the few outspoken conservatives in Hollywood.
Davi expected left-wing critics to be unkind to the fim, and they have been.
However, Louis Chilton of the UK Independent made one admission about the film.
Although he ripped My Son Hunter as the “bald-faced work of conservative agitprop,” he said that he fact-checked claims made in the film and found out that they were true.
Chilton wrote, “The issue, I suppose, is that no matter how laughable My Son Hunter is, there is at least a soupçon of reality to it. Several times, the film had me rushing to Google, where I discovered that this or that piece of unflattering Biden trivia was in fact rooted in truth.”
Chilton’s confession raises a huge problem that conservatives have been voicing for a long time.
The Democrat Media Complex is in control of the narrative, and that’s the only thing most people ever are allowed to hear.
The corporate press buried the laptop story before the 2020 presidential election because the establishment was desperate for Joe Biden to win.
A survey conducted by the Media Research Center showed that 17% of Biden voters in swing states would not have voted for him had they known about the Biden Crime Family scandals.
Fifty former senior intelligence officials signed onto a letter avering that Hunter’s laptop was Russian disinformation.
It turned out that was fake news; the FBI had been in possession of the laptop for a year, and Hunter Biden was already under investigation.
Amazingly, the FBI never leaked those details; the leaks only occur if they damage Donald Trump.
The Democrats maintain this propaganda power through near-monopoly control of the cultural institutions.
It begins in K-12 education, then carries into academia, where people have been encouraged to go despite the bad economic tradeoff.
The college debt crisis is a result of too many people going to college for degrees they don’t need.
And all along the way, the ideas of the left are culturally enforced in movies and television shows.
That’s why independent conservative films like My Son Hunter are bothersome.
They can be made outside of the Hollywood system, and there are now distribution models in place that did not exactly 10 or 15 years ago.
Conservatives can start making a difference with a commitment to creating culture.
