Isn’t it hilarious how House Speaker Nancy Pelosi somehow genuinely believes she’s more powerful than her position allows her to be?
Delusional Pelosi consistently bashes President Donald Trump, especially when he’s not in her presence, as if she’s more powerful. The Representative from California callously accused our commander in chief of being “morbidly obese.”
And actor James Woods had this epic comeback for Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
Two-time Academy Award winner James Woods – known for “Salvador” and “Diggstown” –- is one of the few conservative Hollywood celebrities. Since President Trump defeated former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Woods has gone above and beyond the call of duty to defend his honor amid the spread of vitriol in Hollywood against him.
Of course, Woods has become a member of the Hollywood blacklist, mostly being excommunicated from Hollywood, for being a supporter of Trump. But Woods has officially embraced that role and went on the offensive when House Speaker Nancy Pelosi shamelessly called Trump “morbidly obese.”
Pelosi told CNN’s Anderson Cooper on his show “360,” “As far as the president is concerned, he’s our president and I would rather he not be taking something that has not been approved by the scientists, especially in his age group and in his, shall we say, weight group — what is it, morbidly obese they say. So I don’t think that’s a good idea.”
It’s almost as if she wanted to jam that insult through, right? It’s as if she woke up that morning thinking “I’m gonna fat shame the president.”
Woods epically responded to Pelosi’s comment by tweeting a picture of the House Speaker and a two-word caption that read, “morbidly corrupt.”
We all know Pelosi is corrupt, but liberals refuse to accept that characterization. Pelosi has done nothing more than become a thorn in America’s side. How many times has she tried to undermine the duly-elected President Trump thus far? Hundreds? Maybe thousands?
But Woods recently tweeted a brutally honest characterization of President Trump writing, “Let’s face it. Donald Trump is a rough individual. He is vain, insensitive, and raw. But he loves America more than any President in my liftetime. He is the last firewall between us and this cesspool called Washington. I’ll take him any day over any of these bums.”
Taking President Trump over any of the do-nothing Democrats, particularly former Vice President Joe Biden, is a no-brainer. Americans would rather have a Washington outsider than a sleazy career politician any day.
Trump directly responded to Woods’ tweet by saying, “I think that is a great compliment. Thank you James!”
Woods responded to President Trump saying, “And indeed it was intended as such, Mr. President. Rough men stay the course. Treachery, however, is the most dangerous enemy a leader can face. Even Caesar succumbed to it. Be wary. Stay strong. God bless.”
He also added the hashtag “#ObamaGate” at the end of the tweet too.
Another actor on the frontlines of Hollywood Trump-hatred is Academy Award winning actor Jon Voight who recently said Trump was the “greatest president of my lifetime.” Voight has echoed that same sentiment many times before.
Woods and Voight are without a doubt in the minority in Hollywood, but it doesn’t look like they’re giving up their Trump defense pursuit anytime soon.
