Bill Maher is losing his mind.
The comedian and late-nite talk show host has been completely overtaken by Trump Derangement Syndrome.
Now Maher’s hatred for Trump caused him to say something terrible about the Covington kids.
Donald Trump has called the press the enemy of the American people.
The mainstream media and people on the left — which is redundant — balked at Trump’s language, but they continue to prove him right.
The disgraceful smear campaign against Justice Brett Kavanaugh woke people up to media malfeasance, who were complicit in calling him a gang rapist for the sole purpose of keeping him off the Supreme Court.
As the Kavanaugh fiasco passed, Americans returned to their media-induced slumber of propaganda and fake news.
But another story has come along and shocked the conscience of the American people.
Students from Covington Catholic High School in Kentucky were on a field trip at a pro-life march in Washington, D.C. when they became the center of a grotesque media hitjob.
The students, pro-lifers wearing MAGA hats, were taunted and ridiculed by a group of black supremacists with all sorts of disgusting insults.
A Native American activist insinuated himself into the situation and approached Nick Sandmann, one of the students, while banging his drum.
The media ran with a brief clip of the activist — a known fraud who lied about his Vietnam War service — banging his drum in Sandmann’s face and used it as a pretext to destroy the kids’ lives.
The media labeled them budding white supremacists before even viewing the full footage, which completely vindicated the kids.
But the damage was done.
The students were doxxed, their families were threatened, and the school temporarily had to close down.
If that type of negligent and malicious behavior doesn’t constitute being an enemy of the American people, it’s scary to think what meets that threshold.
And in comes Bill Maher.
The left-wing host of his own HBO show jumped on the controversy with both feet.
Maher’s ire toward Trump has robbed him of all perspective and decency.
He hoped for a recession in order to get Trump out of office, showing a complete lack of concern for people who would be hurt by it.
Maher’s become one of the worst examples of left-wing elitism.
He doesn’t even try to hide his disdain for the working class.
Maher even suggested Trump supporters are “stupid.”
Now he’s turning that anger onto the Covington kids.
During an opening monologue, Maher called Sandmann a “little prick” and said, “I do not get what Catholic priests see in these kids.”
Like many leftists, Maher is a militant atheist who jumps at the chance to mock religion whenever he can.
But the attack on the Covington kids is particularly concerning.
When Maher went on his rant, he knew the media botched the story, yet he still went after the students.
Facts no longer matter to people on the left.
They look for anything to justify their rage.
Considering Maher lost his ABC show due to a free speech issue, and almost lost his HBO show after using the n-word in a terrible joke during an interview with Republican Senator Ben Sasse, one would think Maher would have some compassion for these kids caught up in a media blitz.
Apparently not.
