The NBA’s foray into politics has been a complete disaster.
The league decided to go “woke” during Donald Trump’s presidency, and their ratings suffered.
Now one anti-Trump NBA star got shut down with five words.
Ever since Colin Kaepernick started the anti-American anthem protest in 2016, other star athletes jumped on the gravy train of trumpeting left-wing messages.
LeBron James was the most notable to do so.
As the 2016 general election was winding down, James joined Hillary Clinton on a campaign stage in Ohio.
The move failed; Clinton lost the state by a significant margin, but James’s brand as a political figure was ingrained.
James has since railed against Donald Trump, and maladroitly waded into thorny political subjects.
He once disgustingly suggested that black people are being “hunted” in America.
James’s politicking led to AC Milan soccer star Zlatan Ibrahimovic telling him to “do what you’re good at.”
During an interview, Ibrahimovic said of James:
“I like (LeBron James) a lot, and he is phenomenal at what he’s doing, but I don’t like when people have some kind of status, they go and do politics at the same time what they’re doing,” Ibrahimovic said. “Do what you’re good at.”
Zlatan Ibrahimovic uppskattar basketspelaren Lebron James men tycker inte att han ska lägga sig i politiken: “Lebron är fenomenal på det han gör, men jag gillar inte när folk med status lägger sig i politik”

Ibrahimovic is most certainly not only in that regard.
Fox News host Laura Ingraham was slammed by the entire left-wing establishment for telling James to “shut up and dribble.”
Kaepernick, James, and other prominent athletes have either knowingly or unwittingly accelerated radical ideas that are tearing apart the fabric of the country.
For example, the Black Lives Matter movement has seeped into mainstream institutions, but the group is anything but mainstream.
BLM is a group of self-described “trained Marxists” who have the goal of dismantling capitalism, the nuclear family, Judeo-Christian western culture itself.
Athletes need to take a hard look at BLM before mindlessly parroting those messages.
That gets to the heart of what Ibrahimovic was saying.
Athletes spend countless hours over many years developing their skills on the field, but perhaps don’t have a full grasp of politics.
It’s irresponsible for James to say black people are being “hunted” when the evidence does not support that at all.
Meanwhile, James defended the Chinese Communist Party’s encroachment into Hong Kong, and didn’t make any comments about Uyghur Muslims being interned in Xinjiang Province.
