Former Hallmark and “Full House” actress Lori Loughlin and her clothing designer husband, Mossimo Giannulli, are facing serious prison time after they bribed the University of Southern California to admit both of their daughters into the prestigious institution.
While both Loughlin and Giannulli keep “leaking” information about their home life and updates on the case to the press, their daughters are perceived as “victims” during this whole process.
And a USC sorority just pulled an aggressive move on both of Lori Loughlin’s daughters.
A source close to the family told US Weekly several weeks ago, “Lori is constantly arguing with Mossimo because she is beginning to grasp that they are in very serious jeopardy.”
In fact, Loughlin’s friends believe it was Giannulli who “concocted” this scheme to get both of their daughters into USC, hinting that she had nothing to do with it. Nevertheless, the same source also said Loughlin believes she “doesn’t believe she should have to spend any time in prison.”
But if you thought the tension between Loughlin and Giannulli was bad, daughters Olivia Jade and Isabella are on their way to becoming estranged from their parents.
A source also said, “Olivia Jade is totally over it and won’t listen to anything her parents say now. She is in no way ready to forgive anything her parents have done. Lori doesn’t understand Olivia’s reaction. She seems to feel her act was selfless and misunderstood and she wants to prove she had all the best intentions and even that she was, in some way, duped into breaking the law.”
The home is broken and now the scandal is bleeding over into USC as well because the sorority they are in kicked them out entirely.
A source told Us Weekly, “Olivia and Bella were both in Kappa Kappa Gamma and the sorority has since kicked them out and is trying to distance themselves from the situation as much as possible.”
Off The Wire reached out to Kappa Kappa Gamma and did not receive a response on Olivia and Isabella’s expulsion from the group.
Meanwhile the Loughlin and Giannulli could face up to 40 years in prison for the mail fraud and money laundering charges.
Loughlin and Giannulli seem to have a schizophrenic perception of their situation. One day reports will “leak” that they’re confident in the case and other days they’ll be regretting the fact they didn’t take the federal prosecutors’ original plea deal.
Actress Felicity Huffman, known for “Desperate Housewives,” owned up to her guilt immediately. She read a passionate speech acknowledging her wrongdoing and now she only has to serve four months.
ET reported a source close to Loughlin as saying; “She is watching the reduced sentences of those who have taken plea deals, and wondering each day if she’s made the wrong decision. While a few friends have stuck by her side, many others have cut her off. She still feels it’s a huge misunderstanding, but seeing others be sentenced has scared her.”
Olivia Jade and Isabella want to play the victim card in this situation but do you really believe that? Do you really think they thought their academics were good enough to get into USC? Or do you think they knew the whole time?
