Athletes are doing everything they can to undermine President Trump.
Basketball and football players are refusing to visit the White House in a childish attempt to “resist” the President.
But one UFC champion just showed the Philadelphia Eagles how pathetic they were for not visiting the White House.
After a victorious win of the 52nd Super Bowl, many Eagles players declared they would not attend the annual championship celebration at the White House.
After hearing that only a handful of players would show up to celebrate their championship, Trump disinvited the whole team and instead held a celebration of America on the White House lawn.
The Eagles missed a big opportunity to express their concerns about whatever societal problems they believe needs to be reformed.
If these athletes who disrespect the anthem truly want to make a difference in their communities, why wouldn’t they use their visit to discuss those issues with the President?
Some of these players actually believe that Trump is racist and that’s why they refused to go—which is laughable considering that African American unemployment is at an all-time low thanks to Trump.
However, UFC welterweight champion Colby Covington says he’ll go to the White House to celebrate his win.
During an interview immediately after his victory, Covington taunted the Eagles and referred to them as the “Filthadelphia Eagles.”
The world champion also said, “I’m going to do what a real American should do. I’m bringing this belt to the White House, and I’m putting it on Donald Trump’s desk.”
Chicagoians booed him after hearing that.
But he was not deterred.
Covington doubled-down and kept it going via Twitter.
Melted that soy boy and made the welterweight division great again! Next stop for this gold belt, 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. with President @realDonaldTrump! #ufc225 #nerdbash2018 #maga pic.twitter.com/QFPK3dMbDr

President Ronald Reagan generously started this tradition to show appreciation for our world class athletes, and it’s sadly dying before our very eyes because they despise Trump so much.
But what else do you expect when these anti-American athletes are celebrated like they’re all the second coming of Muhammad Ali?
