Late night comedy is a dying breed.
All of the popular late night comics make a living by ridiculing President Trump on a nightly basis. But people are growing tired of the same jokes.
And now Jimmy Fallon of The Tonight Show was just destroyed by Trump with one tweet.
Jimmy Fallon is the unfunny comedian from Saturday Night Live who consistently butchered sketches because he couldn’t stop laughing throughout the bit. Then he retired from the show and became a late night talk show host.
Recently, he sat down on The Hollywood Reporter’s podcast, “Awards Season,” and admitted that he “made a mistake” when he had Trump on his show just before the general election.
Fallon said,
“I did not do it to ‘normalize’ him or to say I believe in his political beliefs or any of that stuff. It was definitely a down time. There’s 300 people that work here, and so when people are talking that bad about you and ganging up on you, in a really gang-mentality “You go, ‘Alright, we get it. I heard you. You made me feel bad. So now what? Are you happy? I’m depressed. Do you want to push me more? What do you want me to do? You want me to kill myself? What would make you happy? Get over it.”
“I’m sorry. I don’t want to make anyone angry — I never do and I never will. It’s all in the fun of the show. I made a mistake. I’m sorry if I made anyone mad. And, looking back, I would do it differently.”
And that’s when Trump destroyed the late night host.
.@jimmyfallon is now whimpering to all that he did the famous “hair show” with me (where he seriously messed up my hair), & that he would have now done it differently because it is said to have “humanized” me-he is taking heat. He called & said “monster ratings.” Be a man Jimmy!

Fallon, of course, responded to Trump’s tweet on his show Monday night.
“Before we begin, I just wanna give a shout-out to our show’s number one fan, the president of the United States As you may have heard, last night, the president of the United States went after me on Twitter, so Melania, if you’re watching, I don’t think your anti-bullying campaign is working.”
Wait, didn’t Fallon start this? Why bring Trump up if you didn’t want a response?
Fallon continued,
“Then I thought, ‘Wait, shouldn’t he have more important things to do?’ He’s the president! What are you doing? Why are you tweeting at me?”
And then he used the incident to donate to a fundraiser.
In honor of the President’s tweet I’ll be making a donation to RAICES in his name.

Doesn’t this all seem like one big gimmick?
Many of these Hollywood elites will attack Trump, his administration, and his family, and then when Trump defends himself, they lose their minds.
Trump is right to call Fallon weak because judging by his interview on the podcast, he’s got some serious issues.
